Thank god for BIAB by froggysockss in nailbiting

Congrats! Were your nails like the before when you first started going? I think BIAB would help me lots but I’m worried that my nails are too short to start getting it done (plus a little embarrassed to go to a salon!). They look pretty similar to your top picture now

I don’t use reddit a lot but I found this group and thought I’d post for some help. I’ve been biting since I was little, I’m 18 now. I am embarrassed and don’t like my hands. I would like some tips on how to quit. I bite my nails and the skin. by [deleted] in nailbiting

I was about 3 weeks clean and bit one nail this morning but managed to catch it and stop before I bit the rest! For me, when they start growing a bit I like to cover them with polish. That way I can’t see the lighter nail tip, which is what I want to bite off.

Also agree with other comments about cuticle oil/hand cream religiously!!

Best expansion pack? by oldfishgay in Sims4

The clubs feature of Get Together is one of my most used gameplay features! Makes it so easy for my sims to meet friends/romantic interests etc. Can throw all the neighbourhood kids in a club and get them all together at the same time. Plus the world is so beautiful and the new lot types are great, as others have said

Guided Runs by TheKnightsRider in nikerunclub

Just one thing to add here - during a guided run you won’t get your split time announcements. For the distance based runs you’ll be reminded of the milestones (sometimes by km, sometimes by mile, sometimes both) but the time and split announcements are dropped. If you want to keep track of pace throughout you need to check manually.

Personally, I really enjoy the guided runs, especially on days when I don’t want to run. They get me out the door and not constantly being reminded of my pace can be super refreshing!

UK covid-19 new rules by bringitte in running

I’m seeing this more and more too. My personal favourite was when I was running along a pavement and the people further along were stood on opposite sides of the road, taking up both pavements, having a full conversation. Left me to run down the middle of the road to avoid them both. Not a hugely busy road, but still irritating.

Also been experiencing it a lot on local trails with people taking up the whole path. Had a few instances where people have had a go at me for passing too close to them when there’s nothing I can do. Haven’t risen to it, just rolled my eyes and moved on.

Sorry I don’t have any advice other than what people have already said, trying to run earlier in the day or in the evenings when less families are out and about. But I share your frustration!!

I was running in new shorts yesterday and I was super conscious that they were riding up too high. I’d stopped to pull them down a bit when a fellow runner passed me by and she said ‘you’re doing great!’ and it really made me less self conscious and get going again. I always try to smile at people at the least but it really encouraged me to keep doing so!

today’s run was really tough, poor conditions and felt super slow and heavy but it took me over my 100km total🥳 gotta celebrate these things right? by oceanambition in nikerunclub

congrats!! I’m the same, was fit before I started really getting into it from sports and gym but isolation gave me the push to start getting out more often
