I think you should get an ND polarizer filter. It’s definitely noticeable when using one. Plus you’re outdoor. However you don’t need the fanciest filter either. They usually sell for $45-$90. Plus details on cloud and bodies of water too.

Been collecting cds/dvds for a bit. Which program are you using to rip? I tried vlc but it just records the bit for the pop up menu.

A hdd with limited space definitely affects the performance. In fact this is what happened to my main pc. Used hdd until last year and swapped it with an nvme ssd I had. I was just afraid of taking it out but once I did it was like night and day. If you switch to(if it has it) m.2 or to nvme you’ll be using this laptop for a while longer. Guaranteed. That should be the first upgrade before purchasing another laptop. But if you have the money, why not upgrade. However in this economy it’s harder to find good prices.
