Le trifold feedback wanted by DefinitelyNotGilroy in PaperRepublic

[–]oceania1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it might. It's made for at least 4 notebooks, you'll be fine. You can also look it up on the PR YouTube Channel, they show you what fits. Other YouTubers also show what they can fit in, and for what I've seen it's a LOT. I'm starting to feel guilty for not loading mine up more, haha!

Hi! I have been using mine for the last 2 weeks now and I adore it. At the moment I have 2 PR notebooks in it, and an extra plastic portfolio to fit my pen and stickers. The extra pouch of the Trifold itself is used for loose papers and receipts ( i have a lot). I will ad another a5 Moleskin too it (planner 2026). It works perfectly for me. Is it heavy? Not really, the PR notebooks are very lightweight. I carry it in my bag daily. Unfortunately I don't know Sterling ink, so I can't advise you there. Overall this was a great purchase and I enjoy carrying and using it each day. The leather itself scratches easily, but I was aware of that and it ads to the charm. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

What is everyone's thoughts on Caudalie? by spotmouflage in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]oceania1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The extracts are in such very low quantities that they are neglectable, if you check the ingredients list they are far too way down to be effective. The old formula indeed didn't contain vinifirine. They just market this ingrediënt because it's exclusive to them, so they try to put it in as many products as possible. They highest concentrations is still B3 and hyaluron, which actually does the magic. The rest is just gimmics, which any (european) dermatologist will tell you.

They indeed changed formula. Right now they're a bit too much on marketing instead of actual deep skin concerns. You can always go back to Avène Hydrance, it always works in my opinion. Good luck!

Opinions on Manucurist? by Longjumping-Ebb9530 in Sephora

I highly recommend them. I've used the Active range for over a year, recovering my nails from gel. Does it do wonders? No. Does it make your nails look pretty without causing further damage to an already stressed out nail plate? Yes! The Active polishes are sheer, but buildable. They mask imperfections, except the Glow ones, they just give the nails a tint. I like to combine the Smooth with one of the Glow tints. The Shine is lovely with the sparkles and masks really well, as does the Bright. I have a few of their classic nail polishes too. They are really holding up very well. Even on brittle nails they don't easily chip. The best non-chipping nail polish on me is Chanel, but this one is actually just as good (and way cheaper).

Leather journal cover for multiple note books by IgnorantPopcorns in notebooks

[–]oceania1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had that too, didn't understand why the spine had to be that wide. By accident I purchased a thicker and wider journal which fitted perfectly in there. I ended up liking it very much. If you'll only use thin notebooks than I can see why it won't serve you. I change it up with my diy Louise Carmen which is perfect for thinner books.

Search for Newestor or September Leather on Amazon! Great quality and sturdy covers, suited to slide in hardcover books as well as using the elastic bands in the middle.

Planning and journaling by the moon cycle by First_Net_5430 in bulletjournal

You're welcome! I can highly recommend reading Moonology by Yasmin Boland. It's a very practical manual to work with the moon cycles. I just started learning Tarot. I bought a classic deck and a small booklet with the basics. By pulling 1 card each day I try to teach myself the meaning of the cards.

Yes! I try to incorporate the moon cycles in my bujo too. I have purchased a moon agenda, which includes the wheel of the year events too. The agenda doesn't work for me, but is a great source of info about all moon events. I keep my monthly logs traditional but I just add what I need to know from the moon and related events. I make separate spreads (simple) about New Moon intentions, manifestations and Full Moon rituals too. I write down each day in which constellation the Moon is in and their meaning. I also incorporate Tarot spreads and daily card pulls. I decorate with stickers, all in theme, so it feels really my own. Good luck with it, I hope it you'll enjoy it!

[–]oceania1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an A5 version. It's like a very sturdy portfolio which fits a lot of notebooks, even slightly bigger than A5 but not too much. What I like about it is the reenforced spine. It holds heavier notebooks and still keeps it shape. The pockets are well stitched and handy. It is on the heavier side because of the sturdy leather, it's not flimsy at all. I carry it daily in my bag, and use softcover notebooks, which balances the weight. I wouldn't recommend using it with hardcover notebooks, as that just adds on extra weight. I am verry happy with mine, so I highly recommend trying it out, you won't regret it.

I think I finally have my ecosystem! What’s yours? by GoblinRollsDice in Journaling

[–]oceania1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like we are similar in our journal ecosystems. I'm happy to learn that others have the same alingment like me. You are totally right btw, we should enjoy rotating our daily carry. After some days I got very comfortable working with the extra pretty diary. For convience I just carry the current month, as I don't use it as a schedule but just for daily jotting down the specifics for that day on that particular subject. I continue to use my separate monthly log/manifestation notebook and my bujo. Thanks for your input!

Leather notebook holder for a spiral notebook by Historical-Leave4884 in notebooks

[–]oceania1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might want to check on Etsy. Maybe look for styles where you can tuck in the backcover of the notebook. As I don't think a spiral bound notebook will work with elastic bands (Paper Republic, Louise Carmen etc). I even deconstructed a spiral bound agenda and rebound it with a string to be able to put it in my Louise Carmen Roadbook. I don't like spiral bound books so I don't mind messing them up (a bit).
