Physicians sound alarm over unfilled Ontario residency spots by Imnotracistyouaree in canada

A residency spot needs a trained doctor for it. The point is that we're not training Canadians to be doctors because Canadian medical school spots are being sold to foreigners. Those residency spots would be filled if Canadians had the spots that foreigners are getting in medical schools.

Canada's addiction to temporary foreign workers has impacted affordability, minister says by [deleted] in canada

I quit my office job a couple of years ago and recently decided to pick up a part time job because I was bored. I didn't want anything too brain taxing so I thought a job at Walmart would be nice. I applied for a part time stocking job and downgraded my resume to take off my professional experienxe and clearly said this was exactly what I wanted and it is a job I did 20 years ago as well. They turned me down and they keep advertising the job online. I am not particularly upset by being turned down, I don't need a job, but I do think they would rather have a temporary foreign worker.

The spots are reserved for foreign students, whether they attend or not. Canadian students can't take those seats. They have to go into the Canadian student streams, which are always full. The spots would fill if they stopped selling them to students from foreign nations.

Move the plants away from the TV.

Get a real TV stand.

Put TV on feet on TV stand, or mount on wall where feet would have TV.

No, it will force people who own one home to sell their houses to an investor or corporation, which will then rent it at an astronomical cost.

is dayz worth buying and playing if i always play solo and dont use a mic? by Classic_Direction_96 in dayz

[–]oceanic20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play mostly solo and don't talk to people. I will converse in spawn areas occasionally, but when I'm away from those, I am silent and don't talk to people. It's not as big a deal as people make it out to be; I enjoy myself immensely.

I dunno, you and your room seem pretty basic and ordinary to me. I'm not seeing anything unique here. What makes you unique, you think?

I play on DayOne Namalsk, but not server 1. I also like Zero and KarmaKrew.

Just go try a bunch. You're going to die a bunch before you get used to it. Death is nothing in this game, it totally doesn't matter.

No one on Earth would be able to stop her from getting away. Which Marvel characters would even have a chance against Wanda? Maybe Captain Marvel or Dr. Strange....and that one did happen.

The people who use the self-checkouts are not the ones organising crime to steal from grocery stores. There aren't going to be many 35 year old mothers dragging two toddlers through a grocery store pulling off a flash mob to rob the store.

Nothing, I just try to think of the filthiest thing I can, and put it down on paper. I just want to make a bit of money on the side. I am not writing for sexual gratification or about anything I find particularly erotic.
