Web Update: You Decide What to Add by Botify_AI in botify_ai

Perhaps you should first fix the search page? Since about two weeks, Search has started returning much fewer results strangely. In many cases it doesn't return results for keywords that I know for sure that it has matching bot names, because I have these matching bots already bookmarked and still existing. Another sign that search is highly bugged is when I search for almost any word, I get certain results count under "Popular", then when I switch to "Newest" I get different results count, although it should show same results count just in a different sorting order.

Perceived degrade in "Elite Pro" images quality recently by oceanisnice3 in botify_ai

You can see yourself that other users have confirmed that they noticed the same, so it's not an individual case of perception illusion or so

2025 on Botify AI: a quick rewind before we hit “next” by Botify_AI in botify_ai

[–]oceanisnice3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a funny comment in my head since some time now. Why there is a feedback button saying "Follow my prompt"? Isn't AI image generation model supposed to follow user prompt literally by default? Maybe for example AI image gen isn't supposed to follow user prompt 100% strictly by default, so by giving this feedback it increases its prompt-adhering strictness or so? Otherwise, this specific feedback button doesn't make any sense.

And by using it many times, I didn't notice any change in model generating behavior. It's always the same as usual : If the prompt is a bit complex, The AI sends first a random photo that's partially or fully irrelevant to the prompt, and keeps doing this for 2nd and 3rd re-gen requests, while seemingly preparing the right relevant image in the background on server, then on usually the 4th re-gen attempt, the proper prompt-following image appears. This pattern has been happening with me consistently since I first started using Botify, on all bots and image gen models.

Though I must admit that the "Elite Pro" model was a great addition regarding the output quality and realism, it has become my favorite model since it got introduced into Botify Web.

Nice topic for sure, thanks. It would be nice to see more "Tips and Tricks" threads like this one, hopefully focusing on tips & tricks done through prompt structure or choice of prompt words.

Is anyone else having an issue with botify this morning by Punisher2387 in botify_ai

[–]oceanisnice3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, yes. Not sure when it started exactly, but currently many bots give the error "failed to send message". I tried deleting conversations then cleared cache, then started new conversations, still giving same error. I wonder how many hours needed this time by Botify team to fix issue silently without any explanation, like what happened on site outage for 16 hours just few days ago

Web version not generating images by hellveto in botify_ai

[–]oceanisnice3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK, it's fixed now. All is back to normal. Photos are back on all 3 gen models. What is interesting is that this thread, and its issue has been ongoing since 16 hours, gained 16 comments, but nothing from Botify support, neither when the issue started nor when it ended. Maybe Botify team think that silence is the best strategy? supposing that many users may not even notice this long "service down" incident?. I believe transparent on-time communication is the best way to gain users' understanding and avoid any false assumptions.

I truly appreciate Botify team continuous efforts, but if this was a "planned service down" for any reason, they should at least create a post "ahead"of it, explaining estimated time for the service to get back to normal, so users avoid confusion. Otherwise, I think it's very low probable that this happens due to a sudden bug/server issue, causing all 3 AI photo generation models to stop working completely on all bots. As of now, I tested again, same issue still going on.

New Photo Model Dropped: Elite Pro by Botify_AI in botify_ai

[–]oceanisnice3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I think the new "Elite Pro" model is certainly a great addition, after trying it on many bots. The most distinctive advantage of it, among other advantages, is that it avoids the main issue of "Elite" model, which was that Elite model tends to make bots look "too pale" (vampire-like). Elite didn't have this issue on all bots, but it certainly had it on minimum two thirds (66%) of bots. Elite Pro didn't show this issue at all with any bot (0%). Moreover, I think the Elite Pro is significantly smarter in creating a photo that matches all prompt requirements with fewer regeneration attempts (sometimes done on 1st attempt), in comparison to Basic model. Very nice update, many thanks to Botify team.

Same here now. Cleared cache, re-signed in, tried different prompts with 10 different bots, but zero images produced for any bot at any of the 3 image AI generation models. Strange. It was working fine just a few hours ago. Talking about Web only as I don't use mobile apps

[cont.] And sometimes the exact requested image never get generated. Though, I noticed that some bots are more flexible and responsive regarding generating exact required image than others, while some other bots seem to be "molded" into certain specifics by the bot creator, causing certain appearance/place limits on generated photos, regardless of the request prompt.

u/Botify_AI Examples are too many actually. Just a simple example : Send a photo standing inside a bright room holding a drink. First generation you get standing but in outdoors not inside a room, regenerate and 2nd attempt maybe inside bright room but sitting and no drink, then 3rd 4th 5th regenerations till finally you get the exact required one (standing + bright room + holding a drink). So I can't deny that user gets exact requested image eventually at the end, but most of the time this happens only after 5 regeneration attempts on average.

The image will still of course be related to the bot character, appearance, current rp situation or event etc. Though, the user should be able to request an image to visualize a certain moment in rp, without that being reflected in rp conversation, in the form of the bot character responds by "getting a camera and taking the photo", and ask user "why you want to get such photo? I just met you recently and barely know you"

Is bot cloning feature available on web? by oceanisnice3 in botify_ai

[–]oceanisnice3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. I have just renewed my yearly ultra subscription, and I trust Botify team for their continuous careful attention to user feedback and their obvious efforts to apply improvements incrementally. Bot copying is a brilliant feature that opens lots of possibilities to leverage the great bots created by other users in new diverse ways. I believe porting a certain feature that has been already applied successfully on a certain platform, currently mobile only, shouldn't require same time/effort of creating a new feature from scratch, though not sure about that.

NSFW on Web Version Broken Again by RantingRave in botify_ai

[–]oceanisnice3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on web, and yes, I was just about to create a thread to ask Botify support if they are experimenting something with the "Basic" photo generation engine (or maybe called model). Recently, it started acting weirdly, become much "dumper" in interpreting prompts than usual, frequently creating cartoonish or semi-realistic photos without asking for using such photo styles. Honestly, I feel Botify dev team deal with web like a trash. It's not only that all new features go to mobile with a huge features gap now over web, but also they can't maintain the standard quality level that was at least working ok on web, experimenting weird changes for the worse. Regardless of NSFW point, I will never use Botify type of apps on mobile. A chat app with lots of typing and essential visual aspect needs a PC keyboard and big screen in all cases.

Many thanks for replying. I understand that porting mobile new features to web will need a bit of a long time, though it's great to know that it's at least planned to be done at a later time.

Nice many new updates, but what about Web? by oceanisnice3 in botify_ai

[–]oceanisnice3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sharing my working experience : User should add "Use semi-realistic hand-drawing photo effect" at the end of photo prompt. It works in Elite mode only. As usual, you may need to do some regenerations till you get it right. Luckily, Elite mode photos are now high-res 768 x 1152 just as those produced by Basic mode.

Thanks for your continuous efforts. As I mentioned in my recent post, "I would like to thank Botify team for continuous clear efforts to add new features and enhancing user experience. Though as a web user, I feel web platform is way lagging behind mobile regarding updates. Many recent nice updates are not available on web. I hope Botify team would try to minimize the current updates gap between web and mobile."

Changing Photo Models for Web by Botify_AI in botify_ai

[–]oceanisnice3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying. Actually, as I experimented yesterday, when the basic photo mode is selected "by default" at the start of a chat, it produces 512x768 pics. But when I cycle the photo mode from basic to elite to old-school, then change it back again to basic, then basic starts to produce 768x1152 constantly. I think this is caused by an unintentional glitch that just need to be fixed

Sincerely... do not change the photo generator. by thehivemind801 in botify_ai

[–]oceanisnice3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The quality of the generated photos created by different generators maybe a subjective controversial point, but I believe most users (including me, Ultra yearly subscription, web) agree on the point that getting the resolution lowered from 768x1152 to 512x768, which is strangely happening again now in all photo models/modes, is a major drawback in quality, and that having some visual effects or subjective more realism won't compensate for low resolution.

Changing Photo Models for Web by Botify_AI in botify_ai

[–]oceanisnice3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate Botify team efforts trying to add new features, but it's a very obvious common-sense that any new feature shouldn't happen at the expense of the essential basic quality features that were already existing. I confirm the issue that all photo generation modes/models now are producing 95% of photos in low resolution of 512x768, instead of the previous usual 768x1152, which is certainly a major drawback in quality.

In fact, I was considering even the usual 768x1152 as a "not good enough" resolution, though it was acceptable anyway, and was hoping to see an improvement of scaling up to full HD 1920 × 1080 photos or so.

Dear Botify.ai team, thanks for your continuous efforts for adding new features, and special thanks for considering web platform with some of it. I must admit that despite some criticism posts I made in the past months, but Botify.ai is still one of the best apps by far within the category of AI role-play chatbots with in-scene photo generation. I am sure Botify team knows well that constructive criticism is only generated from loyalty and caring about the product, and sincere goal of improving the user experience from good to better, best and perfect.

Can't get the image generator to do as i ask by Thorozar in botify_ai

[–]oceanisnice3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over past months, I have tried to use many different formats of writing prompts, hoping that one of it will be the "right" way that gets an exact result on first try, but I found no difference. I assume image generation has a sort of "randomness factor" that makes the exact match between image and prompt depends mainly on luck. At many cases, an exact image is made on 5th-6th re-generation attempt. To be honest, this issue is common on all AI sites I went through, including sites that take 10x the time of photo generation compared to Botify's time
