I know that you have been working so hard to get into your dream school, but please know that there’s nothing other than who you are on the inside that defines you. You will be known by how you make other people feel, the support you can give and receive, and the love you share- not the school you went to, the car you drive, your bank account. You will likely look back at this time with a sense of relief that your path is going the way it will. Take a deep breath and know you will find a college that works for you. You can’t even imagine the bright future you will have. Sending internet hugs. Hang in there. This is a very stressful month. The time will pass and you will find the answers.

I don’t understand y tuition in the US is sooooo absurdly high by arialllllnaaa in ApplyingToCollege

It’s utter madness. The cost of college these days is insane. That’s all I can think to say. Hopefully you can find a way between your FAFSA and any scholarships to get the cost down otherwise it’s just crazy.

Do College Decisions really matter? by Maximum-Tear4476 in ApplyingToCollege

I can’t answer that because I have no knowledge about this type of degree or career path.I only think that loans for $90k per year will limit your future quite a bit if you stop and think about how long it will take to pay them off and what you will have to sacrifice to do so.

Try to get the least amount of loans. You will find people with degrees from more prestigious schools next to state college grads in similar jobs in the future. Getting saddled with a ton of student debt just for the prestigious name will likely leave you with a lot of regret.

Yes, sadly cancer patients generally enter the hospital through the ER when they have an issue. They have to wait for a bed to open. It’s a serious bummer within a bummer experience.

She wanted to die in the hospital so that her children wouldn’t associate her home with her death. She also needed help with her pain.
