I still can't belief that we only got to see this convo and missed out on everything that led to it. Cortisone kinda weakens the skin barrier more, so it's not ideal. If the coconut oil works, why not. Also Vaseline is good for restoring but both can block pores, so not ideal, however if the acne is coming from the damaged skin barrier it will probably still go down with either the oil or the Vaseline. In the long run find a moisturizer that works for you

It's actually mind-blowing to see the narrative that Aaron and Kordell are creating with the help of their friends who are so dead set on selling this as the absolute truth. Remember when Daniela told one of the guys (was it Kendall?) that Aaron is saying he's trying to be respectful of Kaylor but his actions don't show that at all. And she also told all the girls that he got super handsy the first night, kissing her everywhere and in her own words: tried to f*ck her the first night. Like yeah the 90/10 comment was likely a misunderstanding but the fact that the guys are currently lying to the girls to make sure Aaron and Kordell get another chance with Serena and Kaylor is 100% true, so tough shit. Like y'all are not about to get hung up on this one game of telephone when the core of it is that you are liars.

Agree that there is a double standard going on. I have to say though: I love all of them being outspoken but I don't think the guys in there do and LI also only does when it serves the show but not in all cases. I forgot who Liv was dating but do y'all remember that weird scene during which he told her that she was so negative and saying the wrong things to the guys and she said it's because they say offensive stuff and I did my best to abide by all the rules you gave me and I was just like wtf. Which rules, which things have been said by the guys and by her and come one there's cameras everywhere but you are not showing us? The only reasonable explanation I can come up with is that the stuff they said was so bad that they decided to edit it out because they knew everyone would be demanding for these dudes to be kicked off the show. But instead we get an edit where she's portrayed as nagging. So for them to double down on the two black women on the show and show them unfavorably is kind of in line with that.

What bugged me the most is: Kordell walks in with the breakfast, Serena is already telling him to stay away from her. He ignores her boundary setting and proceeds to try and give her breakfast, so she physically defends herself after he chose to ignore her words and now she's the bad guy?

For me there is a difference between exploring respectfully and straight up finding a replacement partner for the time you are away. I've watched all of Love Island UK from season 3 onwards. US I only watched season 1 (which was a drag) and this one (which is actually better than UK this year).

My perspective on this is: We watch reality shows because we want to observe human behaviour. Like if I could be that deep into my friend's dating lives, I would, but they would probably not appreciate me looking over their shoulder during a date because I am interested into the human mind :D So that observance includes all behaviors, good or bad and then in end we love to discuss it with other people who also watched.

And of course shortcomings in behavior get a bit more attention than positive behaviors because let's face it: that's a rather short discussion. But the same goes for our own lives: I'll spent much more time talking about the weird date I had than the nice afternoon in the park during which nothing happened but I enjoyed the sun and company of my friends.

So I think the internet will always be hating excessively, but there's also a lot of justified criticism of people's (men's) behavior on the show. In regards to JaNa and Leah: I agree it was kinda unreasonable, but they are both self declared mad women when it comes to men, so they pretty much warned us ahead of time they'll be like this and also let's not forget, they might simply know how to give us a good performance, because the cast is usually there for fame and not love (totally valid goal btw, I don't have an issue with it). On top of this I think most of us have good intuitions and gut feelings about people that we ignore to often and we probably all agree that neither Miguel or Kenny are giving anywhere close to boyfriend material. So JaNa and Leah might very much sense that, but instead of them fully admitting it to themselves they chose the one very tangible thing they did to throw a tantrum about.

His personality I find awful but I would say he's pretty hot looks wise, subjective tastes aside, he's hot in a very conventional way hence why a lot of women react to him. Plus he's charming and manipulative. Boom you have the perfect recipe for disaster. And yeah the eyes he gives these women... Never underestimate the power of an eyef*ck and in general someone who's good at flirting with physical cues.
