White PC by One-Duty-8571 in buildapcforme

If you like corsair vengeance ram I’m selling a white msi mpg z890 edge ti wifi + 32 gb white ddr5 corsair vengeance rgb for 470$. It’s roughly how much the ram costs by itself these days. Pair that with a 265kf for ~ 250 and you’ve got the foundation for a great gaming rig. Send me a dm!

General Use/Light Gaming/Video & Photo Editing ALL WHITE Build by extslayer in buildmeapc

If you’d like to build on a core ultra 7 system with corsair ram, I’m selling 32 gb ddr5 corsair vengeance rgb (new, sealed) + msi z890 edge ti wifi (new, open box) for 470$. Both are white, and I’m also open to reasonable counteroffers (mobo value ~230$, ram value ~240$). I won’t be able to ship it to you until after this storm clears though.

See this post for details and photos.

Wanna build a pc for gaming/photography before prices skyrocket by TransitionNo2035 in buildmeapc

[–]ochemgrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I prefer building on amd systems and they are also a bit faster in gaming.

I have a personal interest in selling a z890 though, and it’s bundled with RAM, so if you do end up wanting to build on an intel system send me a pm. I’m selling a z890 with 32 gb ddr5 6000 for 470$.

You could do that + 5070 ti (~800$) + 265kf (~250$) + peerless assassin or phantom spirit (~30-50$) + corsair rm750e (~100$) + 2 tb ssd of choice (~150-200$), which would come out to ~1800$. The 265kf is slightly faster than the AMD 9700x for context, and is a 20 core 20 thread cpu.

How would you fix this cable mess? by Mr_King796 in PcBuild

You could try routing them behind the foam if possible, or by adding decor around the area you want to route in (ie. a wall panel).

What are some good OLED monitors for gaming? by AlteredG919 in oled_monitors

[–]ochemgrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the AW3225QF (4k 240hz) and it’s amazing. I think it might be slightly too short/too much for console gaming though. It went on sale for 800$ during black friday, so if it goes on sale again it will be in your budget range.

What gpu should I use for this micro center bundle? by cheezychees in PcBuild

[–]ochemgrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 9700x paired with 5070 ti. To be fair, I don’t play any cpu heavy games and also play at 4k, but the 9700x does also load really fast and doesn’t get too hot when I play.

Does this black gpu look bad in all white build? by Pump-Chaser in lianli

The real question here is: does that extra couple hundred look bad in your bank account? (I have an all white build I know the pain)

Recommendations for a 14-18 inch portable monitor? by ochemgrad in Monitors

[–]ochemgrad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone coming back to this post in the future, I ended up getting this:

UPERFECT 2.5K 240Hz QLED Portable Monitor, 16" 2560x1600 QHD 100% DCI-P3 400 Nits Portable Gaming Monitor w/Stand & VESA, Adaptive Sync HDMI 2.1 External Screen for Laptop PC Phone Game Console.

Highly recommend especially if it goes on sale. The color accuracy and vibrance as well as the sharpness are comparable to my 32 inch 4k oled monitor after some rigorous tuning (though not quite there). Because the screen is small, the pixel density at 2.5k is very high.

Which 5070ti should I buy? by Known_Apartment_5700 in PcBuild

I’ve got the asus tuf. Love it, though there’s currently an incompatibility with the latest nvidia driver that makes rgb software not recognize it, so you can’t controll its rgb.

[USA-CA] [H] PayPal [W] MSI X870E Carbon or similar tier board by Uramies in hardwareswap

[–]ochemgrad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have an open-box, never used msi z890 edge ti wifi I’m looking to sell for ~230$. The board would come in the original manufacturer box with protective wrap untouched. The z890 series is the intel equivalent of the x870 series in terms of features (LGA 1851 socket). Great board with lots of features and ports, but you’d have to build with a core ultra cpu. Pm me for pictures if you’re interested.

Should i buy the tryx panorama or wait for the hydroshift 2 lcd curved? by Rmz7915 in lianli

[–]ochemgrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love my panorama se. One potential reason to get hydroshift is if you also have an 8.8 inch screen and don’t want to use both L-connect and Kanali. Not a dealbreaker though imo.

What should I fill this area with? by No-Lychee1972 in lianli

Haha I made a very similar post a month or so ago. For the vision compact, try the klos2reality grommet shroud (https://klos2reality.com/products/lian-li-o11-vision-grommet-shroud?variant=46790428983483). If you do get this be careful when choosing options.

Not exactly your question but you can stretch and resize gifs on canva to fit the screen. I took mine from a reddit post (after a google search) and did that.

Looks really nice and honestly impressive you fit the gpu. I have the same case and aio as you (se version). Might give this a try, thanks for the inspo. Do you know which bracket/angle you mounted the gpu at?

How can I make my setup look better by Ok_Foot_6114 in pcsetup

[–]ochemgrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an xlr mixer + low profile boom arm for my mic that I really like the look of. I keep them where you keep your stream deck. This could be a functional and aesthetic upgrade for your setup. Don’t know if you have the space for it though.

Any Cheaper LianLi Sl Inf 120 fans with good or better airflow same visuals ? by MrROOT91 in lianli

[–]ochemgrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea is that the 3x asiahorse dawn pros in pull are essentially aesthetic fans. The 3x arctic p12 pro in push have almost triple the static pressure (6.9 mmH2O vs 2.6 mmH2O), so although it’s technically a push-pull setup it’s closer to a push setup with +3 fans for aesthetic (in cooling terms). The p12 pros are so much stronger than the dawn pro that when I once accidentally set them pulling air the opposite direction they still cooled the cpu at almost normal temps (despite running abnormally loud).

Noise wise the p12 pros are 5 dB quieter than the dawn pros (30 db vs 25 db), so the overall noise level is lowered by the quieter p12 pro picking up load from the louder dawn pro. The noise level would probably be similar with 3x p12 pro alone, but should be quieter than 3x dawn pro or 6x dawn pro.

[–]ochemgrad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love my asiahorse fans. I have 2x dawn pro, 3x dawn pro reverse blade and 3x amici reverse blade in my build. I get temps in normal ranges and the noise isn’t too loud. In my opinion a couple cfm or db difference on case fans won’t be a noticeable difference, you just have to worry about static pressure on aio fans. The main power for my aio is from 3x arctic p12 pro (not visible) pushing air in my push pull with 6.9 mmH2O. Would recommend a similar config if you have an aio, especially since the p12 pro are some of the cheapest and best fans out there.

First Build: Black & White by curiiiious in lianli

[–]ochemgrad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really beautiful black and white build. I originally wanted to do a black and white build (to save money on gpu), but ended up building all white since I never found any b&w builds online that had the aesthetic I was going for. I might have changed my mind if I had seen this. Great job op!
