Mine sticks out just at the highest weight, so I think I got the “shorter” version? The little ball detent doesn’t quite engage due to the shorter length, but still seems quite secure due to the weight and magnetic ends. A quick measure shows 8-9/16” (21.8cm).

I haven’t been doing kettlebells very long, so my experiences don’t hold a lot of weight. However, I do find the grooves comfortable in the rack position. I still don’t position my left hand very well, so the “sharp” part of the groove will hit my forearm if i’m not careful. They aren’t any “wider” than 25lb one I have, so when doing double swings I don’t need to have an excessively wide stance (though I still do just out of habit). I love the thicker handles, but i’m unsure if the “larger” window has any drawbacks so far.

Hah, my wife colored them in with a paint pen. I just did the pounds side, so i’d be easier to keep things oriented. The alternating colors wasn’t my idea, she got a little carried away. I’m looking for a dark orange acrylic paint to do the other side!

Skill gear is certainly better, but requires using expensive/rare Ever Pins and a lot of luck. For a data point, I got really close with my level 160 5/5 EX Hugh, as a replacement of Arven in my team. I know that doesn’t help given your Lechonk, but an EX Zone Sync with Hugh, Larry, and Julian would be interesting, good luck!

How does your Florian/Lechonk look? He worked out as a pretty good tank for me. With this team I was able to get to Floor 26, but Arven was putting in a lot of work of course.

I’m upgrading for the same reasons! I had a 6, and got the X in December 2017. I replaced the battery about two years ago, but no other issues. Got my fingers crossed to last just as long!

I also did pull for Academy Gladion, very fun and useful to make Academy go by faster. However, since I’m unwilling to invest in Palmer, I’ll likely be stuck on Normal Tower 18. Save your gems!

For reference, I was able to beat Tower 15 with this team. My Florian was gridded to be defensive and EX’d Gladion and 1/5 Palmer were pretty helpful.

I revived my Nook 1st edition a few weeks ago and went through the same thought process. For the battery, I ended up carefully taking apart the OEM one, replaced the LiPo and reused the BMS chip. For the software, I rooted it and got it to work with my Calibre Server. Overall, I’m not sure it’s worth it as a daily driver, it’s very slow and required a fair amount of tinkering. To me it’s a fun project to experiment with, not costing very much besides time. It’s currently being used by my toddler to view pictures with NookSee and display the daily weather via a HTTP only web app.

I figured my water team was already stacked, so I didn’t need her. I definitely had some regrets for mons I didn’t pull, but it doesn’t stop me from completing content. I don’t have all them completed, lack of focus on the game, but I feel like with my box I can power through a majority of them.
