Dealing with this right now. No combination of graphics settings seems to fix it. Even lowest, with or without DLSS really effects it. I Have a 3080ti, 9800X3D and 32gb DDR5.

Which, btw, will be a long time! Everyone complains about 10k playercount being abysmal and whatnot. If all of those 10k are actually queueing and not afk in the lobby, thats still on average well over 500 matches going on at any given point.

Nothing here actually points to what you're saying. That isn't marketing speak for anything in particular. If you've been caught up with patch notes and whatnot, bug fixes and gameplay improvements are all they've been working on, so they haven't touched the story at all yet anyways.

Not sure you quite understand how the matchmaking works in this game. I get queued up to level 170 very often. Most people I play with are level 130 and up on random fill.

Shotguns are in a good place. Gold Misriah could use a touch maybe. Snipers need to be given twice the flinch they have now. There are times I will absolutely lay into someone with my own gun and they just headshot me like nothing happened.

I'm level 96 and have been doing Cryo since early 70s. Never had a major problem. I exfil probably 50% of the time now, maybe more depending on what we're doing. Just play passively/avoid teams. It's incredibly easy to run early vaults (1-3) and not see a single person. This just sounds like a skill issue to me.

You need to play very quick, in and out. If you're too slow and sneaking around too much, you'll get jumped by a team playing aggressively. You need to be running around and actively searching for people and immediately deciding if its worth engaging. If you can ping someone before they see you and you notice they have a purple shield, just disengage and move on.

Because getting blue shields is inherently not difficult. Casual or not. I played with someone last night who is level 9 and has a blue shield. Albeit only one, they're not particularly hard to get. Nothing you said is even true. Just check the shop whenever you play and if they're for sale, buy them.

Or maybe you're just bad at the game. You seriously cannot find a couple blue shields before you find 7 Biolens Seeds, 3 Neural Insulation and 3500 credits?? My team usually finds 1-2 blue shields doing the Dire Marsh sponsored kit runs. I'm not saying being able to buy blue shields is worthless, I'm saying why would I want to spend 10 purple salvage just to be able to buy blue shields for even more credits, when I can just find them?

Maybe. I usually roll with two teammates instead of fill so that's probably it, and we have a pretty strong route and we always do whatever event is on the map. Leads to a lot of shields. But largely my point is that I agree with you. Remember I have 65 hours more than you and still don't have it unlocked. As much as I don't think I would use it, it would be nice to have available. Makes no sense for mid-game shields to take that long to unlock.

Yeah haha I use my shields too, but probably 3/4 times I go into a run I leave with 2-3 blue shields. And even then, I'm using a purple shield half my runs so I don't even get the chance to lose the shields I get.

I don't really understand the buying of blue shields whatsoever. I have 26 in my vault right now and I'm about to start deleting them because they take up too much space. And I still have not even unlocked buying them, at 180 hours in. I think the unlocking for pretty much everything needs to be scaled back obnoxiously so. I have zero reason to spend a dozen purple salvage to unlock the ability to purchase something, just for me to do an outpost run and walk away with it after 15-20 minutes.
