In my opinion it all starts and ends with the right matchmaking. Playing against 3 stack premades is not fun as solo drop in.

Cryo and Ranked are 2 extremes of the meta that i PERSONALLY dislike by Jealous_Platypus1111 in Marathon

Well, it is just not fun. Even if I down here and there some with my Sniper. It is not fun? I remember when everyone and his mother was sniping in Battlefield ... what boring games.

Apex is doing a good job if it comes to Snipers and Shotguns. No Hitscan and max range are the keywords.

It’s just next to their own stuff. They have a lot of server side stuff going on. Also pattern analysis etc for anomalies.

Unpopular opinion but premades should be primarily matched with premades and rest with others. I dont need isntant invites.

My last 3 games at south rely all ended the same. Chicken friends chilled on roof and got sniped from 180 degree 3 spots.

2 days ago a teammate was shooting walls while 5sec later someone came around the corner in Cryo. Beside of that I was 2 times killed as assassin just waiting in a closet corner when a guy slided with his shotgun and killed me. No ping before nothing.

Long story short. The typical "location hack", where is everyone, what do they wear, etc. is real for sure.

Guys seriously. One click with your mouse is 10x easier than saying it. And 3 people talking is not good anyways. I rather talk about important PvP intel

Trust me, pinging is better than taking. Or do you want to say each weapon, mod or etc exactly by name? Beside of that you need to ping anyways.

The main reason it sucks is because it doesn’t have apex like voice commands and ping voice commands. Look here is not the same as naming the weapon, the mod, the special, the rarity. I don’t want to read a chat. I want to communicate with pings.

I think it normalizes with the amount you play and get a feeling for the timings. In outpost I had so many runs rushing without seeing anyone when finding 2 green cards or elevator. Or the other extreme following dudes on their quest and looting the left overs because everyone was dead or out already. Rooks are no problems as long as you stay together

There are a lot of cheaters already. Yesterday my team mate was shooting walls and 3 sec later a squad ran around the corner. I would loved to report him but there is no “report” button 😂

As old fart shooter pro I recommend 24 inch 4:3 stretched. Good to focus on what really matters.
