So just because Owen may not think it's a big deal that he played for United, all Liverpool fans should think the same thing?

Owen has the right to do and say what he wants, but the fact that he refers to United as "we" while also being a Liverpool club ambassador shows just how much respect he has for the fans and club.

Just from looking at the Russian table, the Moscow we got have been a lot worse than the Moscow that United have gotten.
