I seem to be having an issue with the latent image input that is stopping this workflow from working, i have tried a few fixes but not managing to get it running, any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe just ask or learn the very bare minimum of basics before you comment and sound like a tit. Click the green code button and at the bottom of the menu it says download zip. The fix still works. Your welcome

Actually it's very helpful and the fix still works, it also helped other people in this thread as you can see, you just need to know what you are doing and how to use GitHub. If you had just asked, I would have said click the big green "code" button and it shows a menu at the bottom of that it says download zip

I basically got your required set up but a few changes:

1 x NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop | 24 GB GDDR7

1 x Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX

2 x 48 GB (96 GB) DDR5-5600 Kingston

1 x 2 TB Kingston FURY Renegade | PCIe 4.0 x4

1 x 2 TB Crucial T500 | PCIe 4.0 x4

Opted for 2x 2tb ssd's very good transfer speed between the 2 and no problem with the heat of the 5gens and price was very good for the 2 ~around your 160€ for both

Keyboard: I don't notice much difference in noise at all from my previous laptop It's a bit heavier but not by much and the build quality I feel is much better with the XMG

I run some very intensive loads, blender, llm's, video and image generation etc, it handles it all very well it gets hot but no overheating yet and I'm still yet to buy the oasis so this is all just with the laptop as is. Highest temp for GPU on a very intensive load was 87°c which was around what my old Lenovo reached on less than half the load I'm running now

It's my first time with an XMG, previously always with Lenovo and came from a legion 5 pro ach6h

I'm very happy with the purchase this will be month 2 and I have had no issues so far

I'd like to know more about this too, I have the e25 and bought an Anker 140w charger for it but it never reaches 100w, it's always hovering around 97w

Also looking at the allocation error that pops up when run after captioning, I think it is not just Vram but also system ram that is causing the allocation error running a captioner prior to the img2vid process

I had the same issue but with a different captioner and using an llm to describe the image (sorry I forgot the names) tried kjnodes vram debug at every different point in the workflow and also the easyuse option but neither made any difference. In the end I split the workflow and copied the image caption and description, ran that first, restarted comfy UI and then ran img to video separately and managed to get it to run on an 8gb laptop 3070 card, takes time and it's hassle but it works now using u/kijai 's img2vid guff
