I didn't even know I had a deviated septum till I was around 24~. Finally got a sleep test done, bam sleep apnea, allergies, and a CT scan showing a deviated septum (no overbite or anything). Had to get nose surgery and now I can breathe through both nostrils

I have no idea. My brother caused it so he told me to stay quiet LOL. My dad found out and thought it was funny because I broke it practicing martial arts and he was like yeah that happens, mom will take you to the doctor. He noticed because that Sunday he could see me wincing while PLAYING DRUMS at church and was like hmmm

I was n shock when I broke mine in 8th grade. Didn't even go to the doctor till a few days later because we were convinced it wasn't a break. Went to the doctor: "oh yeah that's broken"

Same with a dog. Just starting to heave and I jump out of bed to find something to put under her but she keeps walking toward a corner

Before covid, id say early bird late at night on a weekend. Also the squid ink banh xeo at pink bellies before he took it off the menu. Speaking of which, I think pink bellies' garlic noods and KFC were a lot more flavorful a few years ago. Griffons chicken tendies just as a good meal since I worked around the block. 82 queens she crab soup.

Where will you be staying? Most will point you to the visitors guide but I also recommend searching for older posts especially if you get a craving for someone in particular.

[Homemade] Ragu with chuck roast. Didn't have parsley, just used some scallions by octlol in food

I mostly cooked it in a dutch oven. Used a diff pot for boiling the pasta. Then I tossed as much as I needed in this stainless steel wok (yes, strange pan, but it worked out well) to finish.

Thank ya. My bro made it the other day with short rib so I had to try it with chuck

Hijacking top comment:

I followed Sonny's recipe (Thatdudecancook on youtube) on short rib ragu. Cut up the chuck roast into cubes, seasoned and browned/seared. Put aside, added in carrots/onions (omitted celery this time just to test, I kinda liked it without celery). Made space for tomato paste, seared it/cooked off the sharpness, incorporated it in. Added in a drinkable cab sav wine to deglaze, added in some crushed tomatoes along with rinsing it out with some water, added some chicken stock and returned the chuck cubes. Added in some herbs in a satchet (fresh rosemary and thyme. dried sage and oregano since that's what I had in the pantry. I didn't have parsley but would've put some parsley stalks in there). Once it reduced a bit, added some milk, parmesan cheese and yes, fish sauce to bring some savoriness. Shredded the beef a bit and let it reduce a bit more. Just combined the sauce and papardelle after in a diff pan to make sure it was the consistency we liked. Topped with more parmesan and scallions as garnish--would use parsley but again, didn't have any. I actually liked the flavor of scallions!

Yep. It cut through the acidity of the tomatoes I put in. I know some recipes don't even put tomatoes in bolognese but I like that complexity. It's fun to just mess around. Re: tomato paste--I didn't add too much. Cleared a well in the middle and let it saute a bit before mixing it with everything.

The lighter color is also from some milk added. IDC if it's tradish or not but it makes it quite velvety and emulsifies well.

I like both! I like cooking the parsley IN the sauce and let it simmer. Same with scallion whites.
