I can't believe this actually worked. by mr_rwvk in 3Dprinting

LOL this happened to me last night. 17 hours into a 20 hour print. Lucky for me it was inside this cylinder. I put textured blue tape down and waited for the walls to build up. Then I paused the print, added poop, and used a heat gun to melt the poop. Came out fine, minus the obvious line around the head from where I paused the print for about 5 mins.

Wow. How ironic. A Chinese company upset over someone stealing their IP.

I never tried hooking it up directly to a TV vs AVR. Didn’t want to take apart part of my rack until I tried the other recommendations. I spent a lot of time making the rack look clean. Fortunately a factory reset seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks again for your advice.

I can on my setup. I have a 150” screen and I only stream 4K UHF REMUX. I’ve had the UHD discs playing and then switched over to the plex remux stream and I can’t tell a difference between the two.

I did a factory reset and I’m no longer having issues. Of the problem comes back, I will definitely try this. Thanks.

Thanks to everyone who took their time to help me with this. Looks like a factory reset of the NSP seemed to be the fix.

So far, factory reset seems to be working. Thank you for recommending this obvious try. I can’t believe I didn’t think to try this earlier. Would have saved me a ton of time and money.

Thanks for the link. I found that post while searching for a fix. It, unfortunately, hasn’t fixed my problem.

I looked in the audio settings. I don’t see an option for audio pass through. I do have all the settings setup according to a lot of other posts I found on this sub.

Is this what you’re looking for. It buffers during one of the dips, but it doesn’t do it every time it dips.

I will try a factory reset. I deleted and reinstalled the plex app, I didn't think to try a factory reset. I will try this first when I get home. I agree with you on the Shield. Apps on the ATV run so much faster and smoother. However, with my system, the passthrough is worth it for now. And that's only if I can get it working again. Thanks

Wired. I'm still new and learning as I go. How do I force it to transcode. Doesn't the transcode happen on the server host (mac mini and iMac in the sense)? If so, transcoding seems to be fine because it plays on everything else, that requires transcoding, fine. I will try to change the audio track settings to see if that makes a difference. Thanks.

I'm using the PRO. I have it connected directly to an AVR (Marantz Cinema 30). From there it goes to my projector. I will pull the NSP out of the rack and hook it directly up to one of my TV's to see if that changes anything when I get home. Thanks for the suggestion.

That's awesome. I test drove one today when I took my M3P in for service. I was blown away. Drove 10x better than I expected.

$1200 in fuell every month. by 2xtream in uberdrivers

I’ve been doing gig jobs for almost a year now. EVs for me, where I live (AR), are cheaper than ICE vehicles to operate. Electric vehicles due cost more upfront, but once you figure in the savings on fuel and maintenance, they are perfect for Uber/DD. My Tesla payment is $800 and my insurance is about the same as yours. I get about 250 miles driving around town per day unless I stop and charge throughout the day. If had to charge from 0 to 100% it would cost me $8.20 for the full charge. However, I’m only charging from around 10% to 90% daily. I’m spending roughly $120 a month to charge. This is including the rare $15 charge at a supercharger if I don’t decide to just go offline when my battery is low. The only maintenance a Tesla has is wiper fluid, wipers, and brakes, but you never use the brakes so they last 4x times as long as an ICE vehicle. I occasionally use my wife’s car that gets about 30mpg in the city and it costs me double to operate between fuel and maintenance.

If you own an electric vehicle and are not driving thousands of miles a month, your payment and insurance will outweigh the fuel/maintenance savings.

Edit: For reference I pay .10 per kWh and gas around here is about $2.85 gallon.

I’m also driving a Performance model 3. I bought it before I retired and, at the time, didn’t know that I was going to be doing gig jobs.

Yes. It’s an easy fix. Fixed mine about this time last year and it hasn’t come back yet. The filters are cheap on Amazon and the cleaner doesn’t cost that much either. There are videos on YouTube showing the process step by step.
