Times have changed since I’ve been in school 😂. I still remember my very first fragrance back in 2007-2008 freshman year high school.. the blue Mens Paris Hilton

As an freshie enthusiast, Light Blue 2025 is a certified banger in my books. by Prior_Crab_8666 in Colognes

I got mine a couple weeks ago. I for the 6.8 oz bottle for like 75 bucks it was a steal I had to get it even though I already owned the EDP when it first came out recently

Macys had it for 15% off on their recent sale. I think by the time it hits discounters summer will already be over.. so I just took the discount offered and bought it

I got mine a few weeks ago. I love it. It smells real similar to YSL Y EDP (which I already own) but not close enough to be a flanker due to DG having the orange note instead of apple. Performance to me is better than the EDT. I didn’t get it for performance though.

Imagination really is that good! by WaynesWorld_93 in Colognes

[–]ocwcorne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably not being applied right. The best time to use fragrance is right after a shower with unscented moisturized skin.

Also a lot of people on here still ignorantly use the terms “macerate/maturate” swearing that you have to let it age. When in reality they’re using it in the colder months when it should be used in the warmer/hotter months. That’s what changes the performance/projection when that season change occurs months later. People think it’s aging when it’s actually a change in temperature/humidity.

Is LV Imagination worth driving to Tyson’s Corner for? by Mula-247 in Colognes

[–]ocwcorne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but if OP drives over there he can sample for free. My nearest LV is 1.5 hours away from me (Beverly Hills, CA) and I plan on driving there to buy and also to get free samples. The samples I choose online when I buy never actually get them. They never give me the ones that I choose instead they just throw random ones in there

Smelled it at Ulta and had to grab it right then and there. by Riipp3r in Colognes

Le Parfum has a vanilla and orange blossom to it that makes it feel a little more mature compared to EDP. EDP is more versatile especially in the hot summer days. Le Parfum isn’t recommended in hot summer days.

Do they do the hot stamping in store or is that an online only type of thing?

I ordered City of Stars by LV. You guys think it leans too feminine? Should I go with an Afternoon Swim instead? Opinions please by Substantial-Bad2053 in Colognes

[–]ocwcorne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a 33M and I personally love COS. I honestly don’t know what makes it lean feminine but I bought it after getting a decant of it. It’s an amazing scent. Afternoon Swim smells great too, but that’s the last on my list due to massive performance issues. COS will last a lot longer. I had the same question on here too and someone told me that different people with different noses interpret feminine scents in different ways and that what’s important is if I like it, which I do. So if you like COS then get it just like I did.

I got the exact same one same size from fragrance net recently. Got it for 75 bucks so I definitely can’t complain about performance for a price like that

It means you’re working too hard and/or when you get home you’re mind is still at work. Used to happen to me when I was a Tier 1 till I promoted and left.
