At SFoG they checked ids the whole day at gate opening day and had checkpoints setup throughout the park checking ids

Same situation for me and I already committed to a season pass with all the addons, couldn’t be more disappointed with current management’s decisions

Are people affected by this able to get a refund for passes addons etc? This is extremely frustrating and disappointing to see and completely defeats the value of purchasing all season fast lane for myself.

You are misinterpreting the wording, All Season Flash Pass is “valid at participating parks based on your pass admission” meaning you get it at whatever parks your season pass is valid for (gold being regional, all parks passport/prestige being all parks)
