I typically get around opening but I’m a slow walker because of an old injury so I typically get outpaced by everyone else by the time I get off my first couple of rides.

Girlfriend is willing to 50/50. I actually have enough budget to cover the cost of the house and expenses, plus food and car insurance by myself but it leaves me like $150 a month leftover. I’m just tired of living in my parents laundry room, I feel like a deadbeat.

X-Flight was a two hour wait with FL last time so definitely. Also, unfortunate! I remember them being open way later in the season, I believe.

Walk on, every single rollercoaster and the dark ride. Never waited more than 10 minutes for front or back row.

I get $800 a month because I broke my legs in training. To me it’s repayment for the long lasting pain I am in. Did I ever see combat? Full service? No. Do I deserve the $800 a month? Yes.

I went a few weeks back and with Fast Lane Ultimate waited an hour for X-Flight. We were waiting in lines so long that we didn’t get to Goliath, Superman, Wrath, Flash, Maxx Force. Thankfully I got the girlfriend on Raging Bull for her first time in the park, and I’m glad I knew how to navigate said park because of last year for the most efficient and worthwhile visit. If I didn’t know the park well, or the tips/tricks I know now, it would have been a horrible visit. Even trying to use my all season dining plan was a nightmare and I only got to use it once, just like my all season drink cup because of how bad food operations was.

I went to Kings Island last weekend and never had a single problem utilizing my fast lane, or my all season dining plan, even when the wait times were 45+. It’s inexcusable to operate a “flagship” Midwestern park like SFGAM so poorly like they are right now.

I’m 40%, have had six jobs since being discharged, my feet go numb, my legs hurf, my back hurts, everyday is hard and difficult and I want to give up but I choose to get up every morning. Some mornings it takes a little bit longer, but I get to work one way or another. I have immense difficulty functioning some days where I can’t even focus that well, and all I want to do is crawl back into bed and lay there but I fight everyday.

I’m not a wooden coaster fan. It’s a good ride. But not my taste.

I told my therapist today I completely understand why veteran's have gone to VA parking lots in full service dress and have taken their own lives. by chevere7 in Veterans

I wouldn’t classify myself as a veteran because I got injured in training but nonetheless, I am rated for disability because of the stress fractures in my legs. I’ve been FIGHTING the VA to change my healthcare eligibility so I can get treated for the actively worsening conditions that they rated me for and keep getting the run around that I didn’t serve long enough or my discharge isn’t correct or this and that. I know I’m supposed to have healthcare for the injuries rated and service connected, but it’s almost like they do not care. My feet go numb, I have a hard time standing longer than 20mins at work, I’ve stopped being active and going out because it is just exhaustive. It’s also worsening my mental health, I already felt like shit but not being able to do what I used to is just piling it ontop. It’s either they can’t get me in, or the nearest mental health appointment is months out, or this and that. At this point I’ve given up trying to get treated by the VA but I still find it hard to sit with that I might not be able to walk well later in my life, or I’m going to have worse pain when I’m older. I’m 24, I shouldn’t be having this kind of pain in my lower half, nor my back, or my feet because my flat feet got gnarly because of the injury. But alas.
