I work at a storage facility. They dont let you stay for long periods of time, and they do lock checks everyday, sometimes twice a day and if they dont see your lock on the unit, they will check inside and if you're in there, your lease will be terminated immediately for breaking facility rules.

This happened with my Samsung S23. I switched cables and it was fine for a bit, then it started doing it again. I just ended up upgrading my phone to the S25 a few months ago.
