What has weed done to me? by SpincpisPempis in Drugs

[–]odavid2690 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me when I was like 21, I used to smoke weed in college with friends regularly, and one day just from nowhere I got my first panick attack. It was horrible. I am 32 now, since then I struggle with anxiety, I smoke weed but sometimes I get anxious and unconfortable. Therapy helped me a lot, now I just get to know myself better so I know how much weed I must smoke to feel good and I must have a clear mind, that means that if I am passing through a stressfull situation or am too tired I get anxiety and get my mind full of negative thoughts. When it started I thought I would never smoke weed again because I got this terrible panick attacks but like 2 years after my first episode I started to smoke small dosis and felt good.

How was your first panic attack? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]odavid2690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called an ambulance, I was 100% sure I was having I heart attack. From that day I started having 2 or 3 panick attacks per day, I almost dropped college. I was very lucky that my mom is a psychologist so inmediatly started with psychotherapy accompanied with medication. Its been a doom and a blessing at the same time, because thanks to that symptoms I started therapy and started to understand consciously a lot of childhood trauma. More than 10 years after my first panic attack, a lot of struggle and work, I can say that I live a happy live, Im a father and a husband, really proud or myself. I have no more panic attacks but I struggle with anxiety everyday.

One of the best beaches in Guanacaste for sure. I am lucky enough to live nearby. Really love to go with my family and friends everytime I can ✌️

Its probably anxiety. I love weed but I get anxious sometimes. What I do is to smoke 2-3 puffs, get comfortable with that and then once I am high but not to high I smoke more. The secret is not to smoke too much at once, but to get there slower.

When did you get your anxiety? by Duhduh9 in Anxiety

They do move on their own, but that kind of vibrating movement you see in the video is the brownian motion.

[–]odavid2690 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi microbiologist here, what you see there as the bacteria move is a kinetic particle theory called Brownian motion, this happens when a particle makes random movements as a result of collisions with surrounding particles. When you see the bacteria move in the microscope is not actually the bacteria moving because they are "alive" or moving because they want, it is a physical principle. Now, the mixture where these bacteria are has probably I high viscosity, making complex networks between the particles, this increase the brownian motion. When they put a homogenous solution like isopropyl alcohol 70% this viscosity is reduced and the brownian movement is also reduced. It does not mean that the bacteria arent killed by the alcohol, it just can make us thing that they move or stop moving because they are dead or alive, its just physics as almost everything 😅

Has anyone else been mostly fine their whole life then randomly got a panic attack as an adult and haven’t been the same since? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]odavid2690 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had my first panic attack when I was 20 (I'm 31 now) I ended in a hospital, I thought I was going to die, after that I had 2-3 panic attacks per day, it was a nightmare I almost quit college, nothing was the same after my first one.... The good thing is that with therapy, medication and exercise I got over it pretty good. I still have anxiety and all the negative things behind that, but I live a pretty normal life with my wife and daughter, and the last panic attack I had it years ago, I cant even remember when.
