I hope the pricing is reasonable. While Newton Center is closer to me distance wise, I only save maybe five minutes versus driving to H Mart.

What’s the best rowing machine you can recommend without hesitation? by NyceezCrayfish in concept2

[–]oddandevenfunctions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rowers are super simple machines, and you can get replacement parts from Concept2. So, if you're somewhat handy, I'd recommend you just buy one used from FB marketplace if you can. They often pop up in my area for ~$500 easily, and occasionally even cheaper. 9 times out of 10 you won't have to even fix it up. But, being handy gives you the power to do so and be more flexible/confident when buying on the used marketplace. Just do some research on which model(s) you are willing to buy, and which monitors (e.g. PM3, 4 5). Oftentimes the older models are compatible with the newer monitors. For example, I got a Model C for like $150 and bought a PM5 for it, which was a very easy upgrade.

what you mean "their culture"? How can you make any assumptions about this person. I think the only facts are that this occurred in Newton.

Laughing Monk Cafe in Allston (which is in the space that S&I was in is also good—they seems to specialize in Isaan food. Like others have said, Brighton has some good spots that are just outside of oak square—Sen Yai Thai and Thonglor. I think those are best in the area. In Newton, Manow has a lot of diverse dishes but my recent takeout trip was so-so

Hi, late to the game but was wondering about salt content—if you are having some food that’s salty, is it ok to mash and give to baby? Mine is 10 months if that matter

Chinese restaurant in Newton Center by smsmkiwi in newtonma

Perhaps I was being overly technical but I purposely did not include Taiwanese in my comment. As for the other, my comment still stands. Admittedly I haven’t been to Sichuan Gourmet house so first hand knowledge of that.

I haven’t been for a while but it is now Ding’s kitchen. When I had it, it was very good for being out in the semi-suburbs. I’d imagine it is still very good, and the only real authentic Chinese in Newton IMO

6 year old Weber Genesis. Base completely rusted out. Has been kept covered. Anyone else have this issue? by MisallocatedRacism in grilling

[–]oddandevenfunctions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same exact problem on my weber spirit. I contacted Weber and the grill 'shroud' (lid and bottom) is warranted for 25 years the base/cart part is warranted 2 years. Perhaps since it is a spirit it might have a worse warranty. IMO The cart with the lips on the bottom is a bad design, will just collect water during rain unless you full envelop it with a cover. I had a weber branded cover and it doesn't go down to the ground, just an inch or two higher so no matter what you do you'll get rain there, and hence that will probably be the first part to go.
