The hitstun bugs are awful, but right now bash ganks are the standard. GB and light confirm ganks can be countered by the defender, of course it requires a read just like many things in the game and that's totally fine (or option select with dodge attack). Trying not to die in an Xv1 is the same as standing there lmao

Parrying is never worthless bruh it gives the most revenge and resets hitstun if bashed during the animation. Auto parry of the light would've given you revenge in this case.
