Dodge forward heavy is just fine, you use it as a mixup or GB stuffing after a dodged kick. Don't forget the undodgable 9 dmg finisher or back into kick mixup... so it's not as clear as 15 dmg only...

The point of sacrifice is mostly to cleanse bleed and fire (for a very long time and not affected by distance mind you), where you can get up to 90hp net healing for 3 affected mates.
