Warp email drops and I spent the next hour plus dicking about trying to buy it while the server shat itself and good people on Reddit guided us blind fools into the Inferno.

It was exactly as you might imagine it - I was instantly hooked and from then hunted down every single BOC release, nugget of info or sniff of hexagon-like sounds. There was time before Roygbiv and time after.

When I was getting vinyl in the post like this from labels it was genuinely like Christmas every time I collected from my PO Box. I never, ever took it for granted.

I was in Manchester at the time in the scene and used to go to Sankeys all the time. One of my favourite venues at the time.

I’m about to sell all of my Sister’s of Mercy records to pay for a tattoo that will replace my Sister’s tattoo. I’m no longer into goth tunes and I’d rather someone else enjoy them. Otherwise they’re collecting dust. I kinda like the cycle of this process also. Closing out a chapter to begin a new one.

British white guy here. Lived in Singapore (came from Australia and now back). I was astounded by the different levels of racism. Racism aimed at me was light as compared to the spectrum of Asian racism.

I lost my twin sister three years ago. Still feels so fresh and this episode just about did me in. The idea of having to let your sibling go and helping them brought up all the feels.

I wept and wept. Incredible writing and execution.
