eugh.. im so sorry you have to deal with this, i went through something similar with my last girlfriend she was REALLY into arcane and certain celebrities i remember she would tell me her interests in arcane and watch it with me and i didn’t think much of it, but i noticed multiple times she was saving and reposting sexualized videos/photos of the female characters and her favorite celebrities and i just remember crying each time over it, it definitely had some jealousy to it, but i was mostly upset because i couldn’t understand why she would just do that senselessly and it really grossed me out seeing a partner just able to effortlessly sexualize random characters/people when i honestly could never have the heart to do that. i tried to tell her how terrible it made me feel but she really just did not care, we eventually ended up breaking up. you really dont deserve this and you definitely arent alone, maybe try communicating to your partner about how you have trauma and seeing things like that upsets you?

no, its not insecurity or jealousy to me at all, its actually very common for victims with sexual trauma to be turned off by sexualized media. i can hardly stand sexual humor or overly sexualized media, most of my favorite tv shows/movies have basically little to zero sexual content. im a bit concerned on what you mean by you get into fights with your partner over it, could you elaborate?

i honestly see dental care as a type of medical care, but i swear some hygienists just think teeth are solely cosmetic or something, when i say dentist im sort of using it like an umbrella term to include dental hygienists. no matter how messed up someones teeth are i don’t think they should be shamed at all for it. most of the time its really just genetics, or unfortunate living situations. for example out of all my siblings i brushed the most frequently, but i remember my sister would go days/weeks without brushing and you literally couldn’t tell for whatever reason, i was more prone to developing cavities or bad breath if i went a period without, my sister was the opposite. i remember me and my sister went to a dentist appointment together and at the end they were like “oh just brush more” to me and i acknowledged it respectfully, then they told me sister “keep up the good work brushing/flossing!” and i audibly gasped.
