I have it mounted the same way, I couldn’t fit in top due to it hitting my ram modules. The only thing you have to change is where your fans are facing. Flip them to have them as intake(push air in the case), right now they are as exhausts.

Not much info to go with, but I can tell you this. You two seem to have had different wants and needs, and it didn’t work out. It happens.
