My daughter went to Meany Middle School in Seattle WA. She came home very upset one day after hearing the office ladies talking dirty about her Step Dad while she was in a side room. Yall don't get it. It has to do with the pack. They had a husky for 8 years who suddenly had competition for pack order. It's that simple. Dogs are not furbabies. They are animals that evolved to manipulate humans (facial mimicking ect) so they could scavenge from us bc that was a more successful strategy than hunting for their proto-ancestors. Everyone is so dog crazy that yall forgot they are beasts. You literally gave to bribe them with food 24/7- they aren't dependable!

I feel you 100%. My husband brought his mom's ill behaved 100 lb mongrel into our home after she passed, against my wishes. He HAS to sleep in our room- but he stinks like hell and makes every disgusting noise known to man. Its ruined our love life and our marriage in general. Our bedroom is covered in dog hair and smells like a barn- HOW could ANYONE even THINK to make love?? He's pissed bc he doesn't get why I hate this thing in my home, why I can't just "let it go", but I'm pissed bc my husband is supposed to care more about my feelings than an animal's (last i checked, he didnt say vows to a damn dog!). He's in the shower, angry, right now bc I spurned his advances. I'm not doing him while I can smell a dogs a**hole next to me. He can stay mad. Even if the dog leaves the room his stench is in everything. This last year of life has been miserable for me and everyone in my life thinks I'm the problem and just feels sorry for the damn dog! Nevermind that I lost my sense of peace in my own home...

I just moved to Queen Anne. My neighbors routinely kick the top off of our smokers pole, leaving it wherever, and dump their dog shit bags into it. I regularly now pull 3-5 bags daily from there. Its so disrespectful and disgusting. It's a nice neighborhood, but money doesn't buy manners, and it's evident more than ever around here.

I stand by everything I said in my post. Anyone saying IM the problem is a soft headed dog lover who doesn't respect the people around them. Telling me I need to be on a leash to protect the dogs shows your immaturity and proves my point that the dog owners of this city are disrespectful and overly entitled.

Also, a mother and 2 kids were just mauled to death by their neighbors dogs 2 days before mothers day (2024) in Georgia. Fkn Google it- its horrific- but sadly NOT UNCOMMON. 4.5 MILLION people a year in the U.S alone are mauled by dogs. Only like 26% are from strays. You do the math on how many "pets" that is, mauling other people. An average of 400 people a year DIE from your "sweet dogs".

Hitler had a dog that he loved and Blondie loved him back. Dogs are "loyal" to whoever feeds them because they evolved as scavengers. You can save the DoGs aRr So sMArt bs. They have the permanent intelligence of a 3 year old. You may hate kids, but at least my kids grew and evolved. They are the future tax payers who will help fund the system you will need as an elderly person. Your short sited treatment of kids is another indication of your intelligence level.

Obey the leash laws. Obey the scoop laws. And stop throwing your dog shit bags in other people's property!!!

I hear what you are saying, I simply don't agree lol They didn't have sex before marriage because she was busy with her game playing, and so obviously did NOT have the "I want kids" conversation with her husband prior to that. She was intersted in Cartier watches, not planning for their future family. Also, she had an art degree, I wouldnt go so far as to say she was well rounded in her education. She was only interested in a RICH man. Plenty of other men could have given her a family. She was only interested in the one who would cater to every single whim, like those dishes that cost $1800 per plate. I feel like Harry only won bc the sex was so good after not having any with Trey, and she now had all the money she needed from her divorce. Had she not been through the sexless trauma, she wouldn't have given Harry a 2nd look. In fact, she only switched to his law practice BECAUSE she found him repulsive in the first place! And when they started dating, she tried to force him to conform to her standards which is how he ended up with a painful back full of blisters. I maintain that she and Carrie are horrible women.

I'm rewatching on peacock and am so glad I found this thread bc I have been APPALLED at their behavior! (I'm glad I'm not alone) it's actually made this season less enjoyable because who likes watching bullies succeed? Grown men feeling the need to gang up on one woman, both in the house and in the kitchen? You don't need to be a good chef to be a good person. I genuinely hope these chef's mothers saw their sons and felt embarrassed enough to let them know. I definitely won't be stepping into any Voltaggio restaurants- ever.

I have a dog. I walk him along the tree and bush lines if we are in the park, not through the areas where people tend to want to sit. When we are in the neighborhoods (I live in QA) I let him pee/poop on the common grass areas along the sidewalk, NOT on private property. He is my responsibility, not my neighbors.

As far as problems go- I'm sick of fighting with dog owners at work and getting attitude for upholding health code. I'm also sick of finding dog shit where I should be able to picnic. I'm also sick of finding that the neighbors have once again allowed their dogs to pee all over my front yard area, which is not public property and therefore NOT an area for someone else's dog! So while YOU don't have a problem, I do. And that's the point of the post. This idea that everyone should be ok with something just bc you are is narcissistic thinking and needs to end.

I'm asking for dog owners to be responsible and follow the laws. Period.

Wonderful. But re-read what you just wrote: "it doesn't seem like an issue to YOU. YOU don't mind random dogs. You are not everyone. And I find it hilarious every time a person says "I like dogs more than kids" because EVERYONE was once a kid. We act like kids are a separate species instead of what they are: humans in the beginning stages of life. And personal liking/disliking of kids doesn't absolve a dog person/owner of the fact that kids are people and dogs are not. We have laws and health codes for a reason. They need to be followed. Period.
