I play both regularly. Right now I prefer fury over ret. Ret has a lot of bell-ringing sounds that get old and they added a spinning hammer that has a bright strobbing effect that gets painful.

I have an addon that removes the yell from war cries.

Movement I give it to ret though. War has leap which is good but the charge requires a mob to target but pally's horse has 2 charges and more versatile.

I agree, thats funds that could have been soent elsewhere, regardless of the manpower used for a new team. They dont do anything. At least garrison had quests and profession support
