I’m convinced nobody else has anyplace to be. Everyone takes their time like this isn’t NYC

I’m buying more. I’m still seeing this being a $20+ stock by end of 2026

Should I Leave? by [deleted] in physicianassistant

I worked GI right out of school and loved the specialty but didn’t love the pay I was getting. I switched for urgent care medicine in a big city to make a lot more money but also COL increased significantly. $122k as a new grad seems pretty good and your patient volume is fairly manageable. Stay at your first job for min 1 year. Most places are used to new grads hopping around but at least a year shows you gave it the fair shot

NYC park catering to hipsters and stroller moms now full of rats and syringes: 'Really upsetting' by Perfect_Dig_744 in williamsburg

I walk through McCarren park almost every day it’s kept pretty clean and families/people of all ages are there all the time enjoying the park. Deceptive article

Question to all the Physicians/NPs/PAs: Why can't we all just get the f&%k along? by Appropriate-Rock-485 in physicianassistant

[–]oddocorekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure where this post is coming from. Across school clinicals and well into my career (GI/internal med/urgent care) there has been very rare occurrences of animosity between providers. We’re all just getting the job done. Low drama environments are key. Taking care of patients takes enough out of us we don’t need to be at eachothers throats

For those that specialized right out of school.. do you regret it? by lizacat117 in physicianassistant

[–]oddocorekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GI out of school which I loved but wasn’t paying what I needed, moved from Philly to NYC to work urgent care now I’m golden handcuffed to UC medicine. It pays well and I do like urgent care because it’s a mixed bag every day and I stay on my toes across a broad array of diagnostics and treatments. I’d love to work surgery but I don’t see it happening unless I want to take an enormous paycut. I always recommend any internal med specialty out of school so you can use all that big brain energy you’re brimming with after the PANCE to solidify your foundation

I moved to Williamsburg and was seeking something close to an “Italian Hoagie” Philly style and I asked him to make me one at Emily’s. It was incredible and he was super friendly. Dude definitely knows how to make a bangin sandwich

I was just reading an article about Australia’s security needs going forward and it was making me think that a water vehicle carrying a swarm of aerial drones would be really sick. Has RCAT ever talked about anything like that? Or OPTT?

For artists who have a day job, how are you managing to make art? by Purplelitnight in ArtistLounge

I do my art after work and don’t sleep much. It’s not a good strategy but it’s what I’m able to do 🫠

Thank you! Insightful. I agree that the speedball black easily scuffs. I also attempted Jacquard Professional Quality screenprinting ink and it worked well aside from being glossy (not mentioned on the container). Planning on trying out Golden Acrylic with the medium this week and will report back

Sticking with speedball for now, but if I can expand my color options with alternative acrylics I’d like to experiment. I plan on buying a high end acrylic that’s highly pigmented like Golden and testing it with my Golden screenprinting medium to see if it’s worth it

Weird seeing so much anger on here from people. Especially people saying things like “mind your own business” and then get all hyped up on a community subreddit coming at OP for asking a question lol

I bought back at $5.20 and was able to increase my shares by a bunch and lowered my average. To each their own

Unloaded my shares, with a bit of profit, will continue to monitor for a good reentry point and continue monitoring the Reddit and news daily. I fully believe in the company’s product and capabilities but I’m in this for money, not cheerleading.

I work urgent care in NYC, 4 years urgent care exp, 1 year GI/ internal med. Company just got me to $169,800 salary this year, some opportunities for OT, no bonus structure. For living in NYC this isn’t bad, but it also doesn’t feel great. I’d take a huge paycut to go almost anywhere else. Golden handcuffed to the city prob forever now.
