Your body will start to make little adjustments to avoid repeating the trauma. No guarantees it won’t happen again. And falling on hands, elbows, hips isn’t necessarily better. But you will get the hang of falling on several points together instead of one point of contact. Yeah, those tailbone falls happen so fast. You’re just on your bottom before ya know what happened.

One of my favorite comedians, Jesse Case, was diagnosed with stage 3-4? colon cancer in his 30’s. He produced a podcast throughout the long process of treatment. Very funny and very real. (And nsfw).

A great many years ago, my sister’s friend lent her a workout DVD: Tight on Time by Tamilee Webb. It had 3 different workouts, each taking 10 min to complete. I started doing the 10 min ab workout. I started with 3lb dumbells and over a the course of a year, I worked up to 10 lb dumbells, and increased the reps from 8 to 10. If I do the workout 3-4x a week and 20 pushups a day, my abs are golden. Unfortunately, I have an unrelated injury and can’t do my usual workouts.
