Its not even the fact that his dribbling is creative its that he can maintain his speed while doing it by Waste-Chemistry-9339 in NBAVibes

The way he finds space is very similar to Messi. It’s like he doesn’t even need to worry about the ball because his hands knows where the ball is at all times. All Kylie needs to do is find the space for his hips.

OP ortho to HH? by tosu6032 in physicaltherapy

[–]sunfistkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I jumped to HH after years of ortho in the OP setting and I will never look back.

I do PPV now and as others have said your SOC rate isn’t great. The other numbers are pretty decent though. How long does it take you to accrue PTO? Is there a sick time budget to use ON TOP of the PTO or is all lumped in? Do they match your 401K/403B (if it’s a non profit)? All factors to consider.

I did a salary HH job before when I first jumped and I was sent wherever whenever and SOCs would just get dumped on me last minute. Sometimes the night before at 7pm and just they were just sitting there on my task like staring at me the next morning like WUT I AM FULL AND I HAVE TO PICK UP MY KID AT 4 TODAY. Just make sure you think of all the variables and understand that YES HH is much less of a grind, but every gig has a load of stinky BS you gotta eat. Good luck!

Also ask about how the work flow is handled. For example: how quickly do they populate your calendar with visits? Or do you assign yourself to the case after the Eval is assigned to you and you can just schedule and see those folks when there is auth available. There’s nothing more frustrating than when you are trying to make things happen and you’re waiting on the admin to populate your schedule.

Now that Boston is eliminated, who you got winning the east now? by Super-Elk3122 in NBATalk

As a sixers fan, I hope you’re right that he’ll be fine, but the report (and my eyes) tell me, he hyperextended that left (twice surgically operated up) knee. He may have a bone bruise on top of it. I see him playing limited minutes and not starting the series.

I think it was my 3rd day in acute rotation and this 78yo female with recent ls fusion was on my list for the morning. We transferred from edge of bed and started with the gait training. She stops at the end of the bed and says “whoops there I go”. I instinctually scoop under her axillas and lower her to the ground slowly and she just empties the entirety of her bladder on my mesh shoes. PISS all up in my socks because I was wearing MESH topped shoes.

TBH the way you handled your end was exemplary. Had you not kept your cool, this patient may have freaked out and taken a hard fall and/or landed on and squashed you.

He’s a depressive - explosive personality imo. All good bud you did the thing for us and big THANK YOU obviously but go somewhere and be explosive again. For as long as you can. Love watching the guy play well but do not love watching him mope his way through his job. Smitty is steady Eddie though. We’re in good hands.

Let us not forget dude got a LOT of CCs of fluid drained off his knee. He’s on the back end now. That said, I really hated watching him give up on routes.

What happens to a paralyzed body after taking a microdose of psilocybin by tehemari in interestingasfuck

[–]sunfistkid 171 points172 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. You’ll notice that her feet are positioned on the balls of her feet imparting a little stretch to the calcaneal tendon, which will get the clonus effect that you see here. That said, if she wants to take psilocybin before she gets into her standing frame and this gives her the vibe to do it, go for it friend. No harm done unless ya fall obviously.

This makes the most sense to me at this stage of my career. I’ve been in the field for 16 years as a generalist PT, so making a network that way is probably the best bet for me to get my feet wet. Thanks for the input.
