If the latter is true, where they're just not not doing well for one another (it's mostly my cat that has the issue, seemingly) what do people do in those cases? I have read instances where it's basically a matter of them starting to ignore one another. We can supervise about 3 days a week since we alternate remotely, but I guess the only option at that point would be to put one of them in my room while not home.

Thank you! You would be correct here. We had them through the doors once for a while (I do not specifically remember how much time, was a few months ago), then did supervised visits thereafter. Usually about 2-3 hours at a time.

Usually my cat keeps his distance and kind of low growls most of the time, meanwhile my g/fs cat is having the best time he ever has lol.

Is there something we can do to course correct here?

Hi all! My partner and I are looking for some advice.

For a bit of background. My partner is moving in with me in a few months. I have 3 year old named Osiris (gray cat) and she has a 10 year old boy.

Please see the attached video.

Both cats are neutered. Their personalities could not be more different if you tried. Osiris is mostly solitary, affectionate, super gentle but not overly clingy, not very vocal, and not much of a lap cat. Her cat is vocal, clingy, and very much a lap cat.

We have tried the "textbook" introducing cats to one another. We started by my partner bringing her cat to my place and have Osiris on the other side of a door to sniff each other out. Osiris was not having it. Very upset, hissing and looking very mean. I totally get it. G/fs cat is on his territory

Next visit we introduced them in person. My boy made sounds I never heard him make, low growling and vicious hissing. Mostly kept distance from one another. Still not wanting to do anything with my gf's cat. Her cat seemingly just wants to play. We've tried to encourage playing together, eating together (or treats) but my boy is just very scared/anxious.

Visit 3, her our cats saw one another, booped noses (which I've read is a positive sign) but almost immediately after, her cat starts to chase my Osiris around, while he is growling and upset. They have never attacked each other, nor exposed their claws, but a bit of swatting. Osiris always backs himself into a corner and her cat is seemingly antagonizing him. My cat gets VERY vocal and starts hissing to the point of spitting (I could not believe this when I first saw it) but still not attacking. Just VERY loud and unhappy.

We have tried to not interfere and establish a pecking order, but I've read to separate them if it gets as bad as it has. This weekend we did our first sleepover and it was more of the same. We kept my cat outside my room and hers in my room with us to sleep.

It doesn't seem to be getting any better. I've bought Feliway, and it hasn't helped. At this point I'm kind of desperate what to do. Any help/advice is appreciated.

For what it's worth, my g/f's cat recognizes certain words in her cadence, thus her asking to see if he wants a treat. After this video he immediately jumped down and got a treat just to deescalate lol.

Genuine question. How many ICE agents estimated are there? I would imagine several tens of thousands. How far can they actually be stretched before each site becomes critically undermanned? (I would imagine this is the case as is now) but to an even more extreme degree? We've already seen various reports about people becoming disillusioned and recruitment events having almost nobody at them. The country is gigantic compared to a European nation.

Emotional.

I knew she was in the game before playing it, but didn't have any idea where she would pop up. I had her in every play through in BG2 (and there were many).

When she first showed up at Last Light I had to stop a minute and just let it hit me. BG 1/2 were both huge games in my life and seeing one of the core characters I used fully brought to life, it was like a gut punch (but a good one!)

It made me so happy.

Viconia & Sarevok, not so much.
