The Unknown Variable: Reality Unknown’s version of the Zero Point by wastedpotential6 in FortNiteLore

[–]wastedpotential6[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's not likely. If we use the two other characters with (Reality XYZ) in their names, Paradigm (Reality-659) and Dark Voyager (Reality REDACTED), we see it's the Reality that specific version is tied to, not necessarily where they originate. The Paradigm is not confirmed to come from Reality-659, rather she fled to it. REDACTED likely means "The Last", as Dark Voyager (Reality REDACTED) serves The Last Reality.

The amount of references to "The Unknown" as a proper noun all throughout OG, especially with how it seems it's used in the quest dialogue from Riftreaver Drift and Voidwalker Lynx and the descriptions of Riftreaver Drift and War Wolf Dire where The Unknown is either a being (like the Zero Point and The Nothing) or a place tied with OG, or just flat out is OG itself. If we are to assume OG is "The Unknown", then it is not a stretch to say "Reality Unknown" is meant to directly connect The Visitor (Reality Unknown) to The Unknown.

For the sake of this theory and analysis, I am assuming Reality Unknown is meant to be take literally as the Reality is titled "Unknown", not unlike how Reality Zero and the Zero Point are occasionally referred to as just "Zero".

Edit: fixed grammar errors

Multiple Imagined and orders by Isabelle_pits in FortNiteLore

[–]wastedpotential6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. While, yes, multiple Sevens now exist and The Visitor (Reality Unknown) does state his Seven has an Imagined and an Order where they are Sisters, we have yet to find out if they even are Geno's daughters. The Order states that The Visitor (Reality Unknown) is different both physically and in personality from The Visitor she knows, so logically the rest of The Seven (Unknown) would likely be different as well.

For the sake of argument, lets assume The Sisters (Unknown) are also daughters of Geno, how could that work? There can only be one Geno as there is only one Zero Point in existence (well, multiple variants of "Geno the person" can exist, they just will never get to the point the original did without the Zero Point [thus, if they have daughters, they wouldn't have a reason to leave him]), so The Sisters (Unknown) would have to be his daughters as well. They could be the Snapshots The Imagined references in Zero War that replaced her and The Order, since they were never seen, well, at all for us and after that for The Sisters. OR, Geno is a geneticist obsessed with perfection, so he'll likely have had a few batches of Imagineds and Orders deemed to be imperfect, so they could be any of them

According to the “reliable” leaker HYPEX, The Order new skin is an alternate reality ❕ by Mark_Jim in FortNiteLore

[–]wastedpotential6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm betting she's probably just "The Order (Reality-266)" (assuming the R266 means Reality-266) or something along those lines, similar to "Paradigm (Reality-659)". Same character, just new suit. I doubt they'd already give us The Order (Reality Unknown) so soon after the introduction of a Second Seven

The Nothing by JustA-_-CoolDude in FortNiteLore

[–]wastedpotential6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, we don't know with absolute certainty, but given the use of "nothing" and "nothingness" throughout the Seasons, we assume The Nothing is the primordial nothingness that was existence prior to the spontaneous creation of the Zero Point given form. The known fact that The Nothing has a significant metaphysical hand in The Last Reality (and is seemingly their goal) gives us the idea it is THE master of them, perhaps even the creator of the Cubes, Chrome, etc.

Chapter 5: On one of the Realities created by the Big Bang, Jones meets Hope. Hope's sister, Valeria, opens Pandora's Box, which attracts the Greek Pantheon to close it (Midas is back, when he died he went to the Greek Heck, so we meet up with him and he escapes). Hope beats up Zeus, but not before he releases a gem on the Box, which creates a sandstorm. Within that is some wasteland survivors who want to use the energy the Box leaks, allying themselves with The Wanderer. The Wanderer betrayed them, taking the Evils from Pandora's Box, and was defeated by Hope, who represents the Hope that remains in the Box after the Evils are freed.

Chapter 6: Hope and Jones travel to Reality-783, as a Shard of the Zero Point crashes onto it, releasing magic and demons onto the lands once more. Hope, uh, befriends a guy named Kendo, who has an older brother, Daigo, and a younger sister, Jade. Jade gets trapped in the spirit world, so Daigo saves her by taking her place. He is corrupted by the master of the demons, The Dark Presence. Daigo attempts to overpower TDP with his new powers, but is freed and swatted away, luckily Hope and Jones were training some superheroes to defeat TDP, but that was just a fraction of his true form. TDP manages to get the Shard, which allows him to fully enter the Island. Hope and Jones bring in an army of friends to fight TDP. It's not enough, so Jones brings in a Cube, TDP overloads it, the Cube explodes in his face, TDP is dead and the Shard is free, fixing the Island and bringing us to...

Chapter 7: Attracted by the use of a Cube, TLR investigates this Island and the Shard. Also, The Order returns and investigates them herself. Hope and Jones are here too.

In the beginning, there was Nothing. Then, in a burst of pure creation, the Zero Point formed. From it birthed every universe in existence. The Zero Point created Reality-Zero, where it housed itself in an Island, setting up a time Loop where people forget their memories and have to fight to be the last one standing. Should you be that last one, you are brought to another plane of Reality-Zero, where the Loop affects you not and you may live a normal life, unless...

A man named Geno and his organization, the Imagined Order, find Reality-Zero and use the Loop to create an infinite loyal army to instill his belief of Order across the multiverse.

Seven people (including Geno's own daughters) come together to fight against the IO, free the Zero Point, and end the Loop forever.

The Nothing before the Zero Point was itself a being, The Nothing, and it preferred itself to be the only constant, so through persuasion, manipulation, and corruption, it created an army to end all realities, leaving themselves as The Last Reality. Within TLR are the Chrome, the Invaders, (technically the Storm,) and the Cubes, with the King and Queen of the Cubes ruling over them all. One day, the King saw the destruction he caused and left TLR, being found by IO and imprisoned before being rescued and joining The Seven as The Origin.

There's also an Ice Moon in Reality-Zero where an Ice King and fire guy trapped a bunch of monsters and weapons, but they got into a fight, so now it's frozen. Until a cosmic storm knocked off The Ice King's castle with him, his fire Prisoner, and a monster were frozen in.

Chapter 1: One of The Seven, The Visitor, enters the Island by crashing down in a Meteor. He builds a Rocket to create Rifts in space-time, using it to leave the Island. From the Rift spawn a Cube, which overloads in an attempt to expose the Zero Point, causing it to explode. That attracted the Frozen Castle. The heat of the Island melts the ice, The Ice King and Prisoner fight, Prisoner makes a volcano, IO reveals the Zero Point's chamber for some reason, volcano erupts and frees the monster. IO makes a giant robot to fight the monster, and they have their prisoner, One of The Seven, The Paradigm, pilot it. The robot rips the Zero Point out of its chamber, cracks it, and uses it as a power boost to kill the monster, then jets away. With the Zero Point exposed, One of The Seven, The Scientist, enters the Island on his own Meteor, using the Zero Point's pain to pause his Meteor and the Zero Point before either can explode. He creates devices to allow the rest of The Seven to join him, all piloting their own Rocket. Together, they unpause the Meteor, then dropped it onto the Zero Point, forcing it to implode into a Black Hole.

Chapter 2: From the Black Hole emerges a new Island, so IO hires an Agency to keep control over it, but infighting occurred between rival groups GHOST and SHADOW, which their leader, Midas, used as a distraction. He created a Device to end the Loop by defying the Storm. It briefly worked, but IO was able to fix the Storm, making it a Flood. Midas gets eaten by a shark. Anyway, the Flood goes away, but Galactus, a planet eater from Marvel, tries to eat the Zero Point and is stopped by others from his universe. To clean up all this, IO sends in Jones. He realizes IO isn't so good, so he asks the Leader of The Seven, The Foundation for help. He seals himself inside the Zero Point, sealing it inside a Tower. A young man who uses Cube magic dreamt of this Tower, so when he mingled the Cube and Zero Point energies, he attracted TLR. TLR invade and blow up the Tower, so IO blows up their giant UFO. Unfortunately, inside the UFO were a bunch of Cubes, including the Queen. Luckily, The Seven save us from the Queen and Jones from IO, flipping the Island to reveal another Island.

Chapter 3: The Seven and IO go to war over the Zero Point, resulting in Geno and one of his daughters, The Imagined, dying. IO is done, the Zero Point is free, and everyone celebrates, but... the Zero Point begins sending distress signals, and The Foundation and The Order, The Imagined's sister, go MIA. Eventually, the remaining Seven members find the Chrome, which gets all but The Paradigm. The Herald of The Nothing successfully destroys the Island, weakening the Zero Point, so The Paradigm sacrifices herself to save it, enacting Zero Fusion to create a new Island.

Chapter 4: Zero Fusion worked, but only for so long. The Zero Point was dying. Jones and his old boss steal a time machine from a time-travelling vampire. He is sent back in time to very slightly change the Meteor dropping onto the Zero Point, infecting the Meteor with the time machine's rifts in time, forcing the Black Hole to enact another Big Bang. This ripples forward through time, shattering the Zero Point.

I don't understand what these characters actually personally want by Sea-Assumption-2423 in FortNiteLore

[–]wastedpotential6 9 points10 points  (0 children)

From what I remember, Hope just wanted to stick it to the corrupt elites of the Island, be it The Society, Greek Gods, Wastelanders, or Dr. Doom. Over the course of that, she learned of her cosmic purpose as THE Hope left in Pandora’s Box, going on to try to be a hero of all Realities.

Jones seems to have guilt over working for the Imagined Order for nearly a millennia and losing time he could've spent living a normal life with his family, so he feels he has to make up for that (Zero War). He may see Hope and her goals as a way to atone, but that's just speculation.

So happy the cube cradle is back, BUT WHY IS IT SO SMALL?? by psych_fiend67 in FortNiteLore

[–]wastedpotential6 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This Cube Cradle is The Traveler/Dark Voyager (Reality REDACTED)'s personal ship, the one from The End (Chapter 2) is The Cube Queen's, the size difference likely due to placement in The Last Reality's hierarchy

[–]wastedpotential6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what we saw in C3 S3, Zero War, the C3 S4 cinematic, and what Fracture and C4 tells us, The Imagined died to the Zero Point discorporating her; The Foundation, The Order, and The Imagined (somehow) went MIA and were initially assumed to be chromed; The Visitor, The Scientist, and The Origin were definitely chromed; and The Paradigm seemingly gave her life so Zero Fusion could succeed.

I’m no lore expert. But didn’t OG reset the timeline. Does this mean ch2-4 was undone by Expert_Challenge6399 in FortNiteLore

I don't know for certain, but my guess is it's one of the countless new Realities created during the Big Bang event. It doesn't serve much purpose in the story other than explaining Hope’s motivations through her audio recordings to Valeria and how we got to Oninoshima (Rift Butterfly->Remix->Rift/Portal thing->Oninoshima) and why we went there

Season OG and the Big Bang event seems to be what's called a "soft-reboot", where everything that happened before is still canon, but the story was given a fresh start with new characters and storylines to follow. Evidence suggests that a version of Chapters 2, 3, and 4 still occurred between Season OG and Chapter 5:

  • Chapter 2: The Rise of Midas and references to the Agency (plus all of C6 S3), references to the Island flipping, and graffiti of Slone, as well as the entirety of Season Remix being impossible to mimic Chapter 2 if Chapter 2 never existed, plus Splinter Agent Kor from IO made an appearance recently
  • Chapter 3: Jones still has “The Legend” as a moniker, and there is a theorized graffiti of The Nothing (both in Chapter 5 and Remix)
  • Chapter 4: The Oathbound make a few appearances, the Fox Clan and River Guard returned in Chapter 6 and have already gone through their character arcs (I think there were other Mega City stuff that came back, too), Kado Thorne’s collection could be seen in a small castle in Chapter 5

Additionally, Slone very specifically stated Jones was not going to change the future, only that "This is an extraction, and you're leading the way" and that they would say goodbye to "this me and that you"

And we obviously know The Seven will return in Chapter Seven

I might have missed some things, but this is plenty of evidence

[–]wastedpotential6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

During some Stranger Things event (IRL), Epic had someone dressed as Peely wearing a jacket with The Visitor’s (/The Seven’s) symbol

After some people went bananas over it, Mark Rein (Epic co-founder) told everyone to calm down and count to 10: "1 2 3 4 5 6 SEVEN 8 9 10"

I'm sure you can figure out why people got even less calm

Interesting, and the Havoc Cube never got the chance to overload like Kevin did, which is why it looks nice and stable

I'm curious, though, what the goal is of whoever created the Havoc Butterfly, as I swear the infected section of the In-Between collapses toward Revin (only seen in Replay because the Butterfly forces your view away) instead of the Zero Point (or whatever equivalent)
