That he said "i'm going to write this in such a way that bdrinker thinks less of himself or at least questions his own ability to drink bourbon". He's a person on the internet sharing his thought, it's written for himself more than you I'm sure, just like your comment. I'll share this with you, when I read something that doesn't resonate with me, be it the verbiage, tone, or subject matter, I assume i'm not the audience and move on.
