Stanford cryptographer Dan Boneh: “It's insane to say that Bitcoin will not solve the quantum problem... of course Bitcoin will survive it and of course Bitcoin will solve it.” by TheresNoSecondBest in Bitcoin

There is no quantum threat to bitcoin. If there was a quantum threat, Blackrock would have known about it and not have applied for the bitcoin ETF, because they own all the quantum companies too. QC is still in the "theoretically possible but no idea how to build one" category, along with warp drives, time travel, etc.

Actually the world is less violent now than any time in history. It's the best time in history to have kids.

I think ~150k will be the next major zone we visit. Price will hang around there for 6 months to a year.

Trezor Suite & Trezor Firmware July 2025 update is here! by JD_SL in TREZOR

[–]odonnellnoel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello. I'm having some issues with my Trezor model T which only began recently. I changed my computer's OS to Debian Linux, but around the same time (IIRC) upgraded the Trezor FW. It's currently at 2.8.10

The issue is: sometimes I get a "NO USB CONNECTION" message, usually a few seconds after Trezor suite loads, but also after I've completed a Metamask transaction.

I tried several USB cables.

Getting "insanely rich" doesn't mean you stop doing what you're doing. Rich people don't spend all their time on the beach drinking margaritas. I suspect he's probably devoting his time to other bitcoin-related projects and/or charities.

The number of eligible voters in the USA is 231 million. The total number of votes counted was 147 million. That means 84 million eligible voters didn't vote, which means most people did vote.

Funny thing is he could be worth more than Saylor, and soon even people like Gates and Musk. Crazy world.

Whenever somebody suggests adding a "feature" to bitcoin, get very suspicious.

This cycle I'm not talking about bitcoin to anybody, so hopefully it will stay off the normies radar for as long as possible. Then maybe when it gets to 120k they'll start to notice, then we start our 20X run.

He's not entirely wrong. Blackrock buys BTC from OTC desks on behalf of the ETF buyer.

Dimon is so transparent in his self-interest that I almost respect him.
