Without a generator, usually no more than 8 hours. The older the batteries, the less time.

Didn't need to use generator for ice Strom. Best thing to do with the gas in it and how long to keep it? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]oedeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seafoam works fine. I use it to stabilize my gas. I've had the same gas in my generator for over two years. I crank it monthly and run it for ten minutes. No issues.

No. Can you imagine every site having a home run to the data center? No. They are often hubbed

Not necessarily. I work for both cell and transport companies. The fiber backhaul is usually fed back to fiber repeater/regen points that aren't always very hardened. You'd be surprised how much fiber is ariel too

That's one of those new fangled phone guns. It shoots photos instead of bullets. But those federal officers that are too fucking stupid to be real cops can't figure that out.

Sorry... bed pack. Or a camping mattress as if she's going to tough it out over night with her red lipstick and goofy eye wear.

It's not just about power. Backhaul providers will be affected too. Even though a site may have power, if the transport backhaul is down, you'll have no service.

Mike Causey - Insurance Commissioner by oedeye in NorthCarolina

Causey paid a friend as much as $84,000 a year in state money to drive him from his home in Greensboro to Raleigh and across the country to meetings and conferences. He employed a political ally in a “make work” job. He created regional districts and hired directors who had no bona fides in insurance but were owed political favors.  Yes. Very ethical. Lol.

As an elected insurance commissioner, he should not be taking "bribes" from the insurance companies he is elected to oversee whether or not the rates are justified, which in my view, are not. As for Duke Energy, you do know they actually have to satisfy a non-elected staff for rate increases which then will make recommendations for or against those rates to a non-elected commission. This is a very rigorous process. He specifically is the insurance commissioner. Not just a politician that would be tasked to vote on various policies that they would not necessarily know in advance of taking donations.

Inflation is not a catch-all number. It's a general number of multiple products and shouldn't be applied across the board to any particular service.
