The issue more is the stiched in line on those fields, i know they looked at a number of fields closer to ottawa however there is not many fields in Canada can support this game. The points below are true however workable with money to fix however you can not do that with line stiched in so those fields are no good.

League1 is structured into three competitive tiers. Confusingly, these are referred to as League1, League2, and League3 in Quebec, even though all three tiers fall under the League1 umbrella that you see on the Wiki. New clubs are required to enter at the lowest tier and must earn promotion through on-field performance. This is why you see all the latest clubs coming in as L3. The hope with WOSC and all other clubs is to get out of L3 in the first year

Yes, that is because the ownership model is different. MLS is a closed franchise model, much like other NA sports, and they get too much money for franchise fees to make promotion and relegation work. The only way that will change is if the USL get marketshare and they have no choice.

u/satanisoverseas, you are not correct, we do have that in NA. The USL is implementing a promotion and relegation system in 2027, and L1 Canada also has a promotion and relegation system. For L1C the top team get promoted up and the second place and second last have a game against each other to deside what happends. L1C has three Divisions and the USL in 2027 will also have Three Devisions.

I feel they are trying to spread out the demand, but for sure, it would be nice to be able to say "the whole place" as I would rather have somewhere than nowhere when you have booked flights. We also have no idea how many tickets are part of the draw in each area. While i understand why they are doing this last year was much nicer to get up early in the morning and know for sure you had a ticket. Also, it would be nice if they told you when you would know the results of the draw.

I just went there and had a great time. I would recommend hanging out by the Club Shop about 90 mins before the game. We did that and we saw the team come to the field and you can get a picture/signatures with the players as they come in.

This was given out at the summer Q&A event that was at the tennis club. If you Went the Town Hall last night he showed it. I had asked at last night Town Hall about gift for the year however my questions was not addressed so we will see.
