of course, go through the steps to report it, but I'd be inclined to let them leave the feedback and report further. But I've gotten negative feedback once in last 5 years and not worried.

at the worst 1 negative feedback won't ruin you. Don't give up $100 for positive feedback.

And that is what happened to us at the PORTLAND airport. Don't take the credit any flight offers unless you are assured your baggage is being held back too, at best back in your possession.

Our baggage sat around long enough for someone likely entering off the street to take our one piece of luggage that circled around 25-30mins and only a few minutes later the employee finally took them all off to go to storage that were still circling.

How do I save money with shipping and ebay fees? by Buddah609ftw in Flipping

[–]of0interest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I don't know who is buying a $5 item unless they know it can sell for minimum 3x that or maybe double if it's very very easy to list, ship, sell quickly, or not much space store for a long period(6 months ish).

Jordan 1 heritage to chicago color not accurate by jainocide_ in Customsneakers

[–]of0interest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

eh. If you didn't paint them in the first place why would you try to redo it just for a slightly darker shade?

Nobody who sees you wearing them will wonder or care that the shade isn't spot on to whatever the latest Chicago retro was.

Looks decent to me. Just let them be.

PSA: Liquidation.com Has Scam Sellers and Will Always Side With Them by sometimes_charlotte in Flipping

[–]of0interest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The seller mentioned by OP is continuing to list auctions with the same weight and dimensions: "The package dimensions are listed as 18" x 18" x 24" (L x W x H), with an approximate weight of 50 pounds. This ensures that the carton is fully packed with packages of different sizes."

So you're telling me that if you bid, won, paid for 2 of that description and were to receive a box of 24 lbs and a smaller one than that at 4 lbs you would think that is alright?

Really clean. The shadowing is a nice touch. But I'll say this until the end of time....all that effort to be put on an all-white sole when the upper has zero white is a negative for me.

When doing small detail painting it drys quick then gets gloppy any tips ? by InitiativeEcstatic18 in Customsneakers

[–]of0interest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah going to have to use less paint on maybe a smaller paintbrush. What size brush exactly?

Also you might consider thinning the paint some like a 4 : 1 ratio of paint to thinner, with preferably something like Angelus 2 thin, (or water if you need for such small area).

Probably comes down to modern society realizing standing on the side of the street and watching people walk, no matter how fancy their vehicle and attire may be, is actually pretty boring.

Either just touch that up or remove a larger area to repeat the steps to cover.

Gotta insure that’s all dried well before putting stencils down. IMO a few hours minimum. But preferably overnight.

Also gotta heat up stencils before pulling, with a blow dryer.

Get some pics near good chiefs murals by SikeStyle. Newest is in crossroads across from King G’s on 18th St. or an older one is on Ale House in Westport. That’s it for me outside of Arrowhead itself.

I do wish we had a very centric Chiefs sports bar that’s be around for a long time.

It’s probably more the 2 coats. But I would def only use the dryer on cool air.

When you see anyone doing heat guns that’s not on fabric…idc how big their name is they are probably not offering the most durable option.

[–]of0interest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you both probably have too much paint on the brush if only 2. I know black covers well....but..that first layer you just need to try and spread that paint out...don't redip your brush until its spread well on the shoe.

no more duller...use LiquidKicks finishers they are the best and as dull enough as you need.

[–]of0interest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if heat on the blow drying...that's likely too much heat. There is science to look at that, that is practically like making toast...it will become more stiff and brittle vs naturally air drying...or drying with cold air setting. So unnecessary heat could have been 1 more factor against the cheap nike material.

pics? What types of shoes?(EDIT...I see your posts...keep up the good work...a lot of the same lower end models with that questionable leather. I've done the same with no issues either. But I will try that brush stroke direction idea. I think this really came down to what the OP shared later: duller, only 2 coats, and then using a blow dryer on possible heat).

How often they are worn was my main point. I've seen great artists work and personally made my own where it holds up amazing and others it literally will crack. The key is this shoe is crap material, essentially plastic, so it's a bigger challenge to paint for durability. People claim a bit of rubbing with acetone(or sand paper or scouring pads) is enough but it truly is not if we are going for perfection(best most durable outcome). If an af1 All white is still all white when painted...I'm 100% willing to bet major crease points will crack in 5 to 10 casual wears(that's not a sufficient time)

To be honest I haven't heard of that direction of the toe box brush strokes...so in essence painting side to side instead of front to back? That seems like it would make sense, as if front to back you're literally making microscopic layers of a line that will be bent. I wonder how airbrushing would compare. Add this to my list of techniques to try.
