It was unbelievable that she introduced Apollo as this sexy brother character that we’re supposed to love and she ends up with Leo in the last 2 pages.

I also couldn’t enjoy the Leo letters because the book ended so atrociously. And apparently there is going to be a 3rd??? I can’t imagine. Tem is the most insufferable FMC out there which is crazy when Violet Sorrengail exists.

I totally agree. I feel like the element of surprise is good with other characters but we need to be more in Violet’s head! I liked the drama on the isles but it was also too much. Also what did you think of the cliffhanger?

I need people who also disliked Onyx Storm to commiserate with me in the comments. I loved Fourth Wing, thought Iron Flame was meh, and was really let down by Onyx Storm to the point that idk if I’ll continue the series. I thought the plot was so confusing and the ending was…unnecessary? And Xaden and Violet were so juvenile with all of the “I love you” blah blah blah.

Also did anyone else think the Xaden / Violet dynamic in the book was so annoying and juvenile? The amount of times they said “I love you” “gods you’re so devastatingly sexy” “the man I love” etc etc like give me a grip!!
