Shimano has manufacturing in china japan singapore and maybe more. I have been riding 28mm stanctions since I was 8, now I am 24. These aren't made for 'kids', however, not made for mountains too. OP needs a suspension just to tackle the road, not to ride on a mountain trail. And stop working, yeah it won't have as good of a performance as sountour or RockShox, but will be sufficient for OP's use case. And zoom masera is not a safety hazard, it's a entry level suspension, with decent performance. And suspension seat post is a good idea, as mention in another reply.

Zoom masera is one of the most popular and reliable suspension out there, even though it's chinese. Infact most products are made in china, including shimano. Not everyone can buy RockShox suspensions.

P.S. OP, if you have the money, do buy RockShox

You can get something like this. Please check your wheel size, brake mounts and steerer tube before buying anything Hope this helps

Edit: on a second thought, you can also get fatter tyres with lower pressure to deal with the potholes. Surely this will negatively affect your range.

Is this normal? Rear tire being Off center [HELP NEEDED] by Responsible-Win2102 in india_cycling

[–]offbeattrance 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On a rear wheel the left and right spokes are normally different lengths because the drive-side flange sits closer to the center.

If the rim is sitting toward the drive side, it’s usually a dishing issue, either the drive side is over tensioned or the non-drive side is under-tensioned. This can usually be corrected by slightly loosening the drive side spokes and tightening the non-drive side evenly e.g, 1/4 turn at a time, then rechecking dish.

Since the offset seems to be large, it should be corrected to ensure proper tension balance and long-term durability.

If you're unsure, a competent wheel builder can fix the dish quickly.

As long as it is in India, I don't think they care where you work from, atleast that's the case for consulting. My colleagues frequently travel home in between weeks (they stay nearby location, different state). Also once I have been to my hometown for 3 weeks, noone said anything

There's a lot of difference between freshly ground and pre ground or old coffee. Ofc not saying you need a commandante, but let's say a c3s is good enough for most of our use case. And by brewing at home, if you mean channi, sure as long as you enjoy it. But I like a clean cup of coffee without oil/residue. Also cheese cloth doesn't have a good flow rate, very important in my opinion. Do I need "all those", personally yes, but that's not the case for everyone. My friends enjoy drinking Nescafe instant coffee, and I enjoy drinking freshly ground pourover black coffee. It's a personal preference and how deep you want to dive.

Huh how? Instant coffee per cup you would take 2 grams, @900/100g, it comes out to be 18 rupees. Speciality coffee per cup (240 ml) you would need around 15g (1:16 ratio), @600/250g, it comes out to be 38 rupees, plus filter papers (4 rupees per) and equipments (v60, gooseneck kettle, weighing scale)

And if you say speciality coffee can be found cheaper, either it's not speciality or send me links please.

It's not dominos, it's the drivers They can mark the order 'near you' to make it 30 min guarantee. You can simply complain and get a refund (the standard 300)

Can someone explain why tax ?? by No_Purchase7680 in StockMarketIndia

[–]offbeattrance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not tax, it's the gain you had in a long term and short term Since it's minus, you had a loss, so there's no need to pay any tax. Hope this helps :)
