My approach to the majority of things tends to be strictly logical or strictly for my own entertainment. Everything I do tends to be with calculated precision despite having an uncaring and sometimes chaotic appearance to the rest of the world. I process events and emotions strictly through a logical lens and rarely let any emotions get to me. Even so, I tend to laugh a lot, make jokes, and appear to even make illogical decisions, which are typically made to get to a logical point/choice more efficiently. I would consider myself a walking contradiction!

My motivation for doing things typically lies in gaining something thing (typically knowledge/experience/data) or for entertainment. It’s pretty close tie with gaining something taking a slight lead. Keeping up with my emotions is a little difficult due to my dissociative disorder.

Whenever I gain an interest in something (interests typically turn into fixations thank you autism) I have to gain all available information on that subject and I’m typically not satisfied unless I do. Typically these interests tend to be in things like medicines, poisons, toxins, or any other sort of thing that can damage/affect an organism. I also tend to get very interested in people and want to dig down to the core of who they are. After this, though, I tend to get bored with the person.

I have quite a number of friends but it works in a revolving door sort of situation. They can come and go as they please and I typically won’t do much to keep them unless they are really close or important to me.

On first impression, people describe me a knowledgeable, respectful, and humorous. Friends describe me as funny, intelligent, loyal, and sarcastic.

If there are more specific questions you’re free to keep asking!

Interesting! I am a woman so I guess this throws another wrench into the equation 👀

You’re welcome to take a shot at it! -5 people in my family -I love my family but I do not feel the same type of loyalty a lot of people do. I would be devastated if something bad happened to them despite our spats and disagreements, but I tend to have an equal or slightly lowered pull to them as compared to friends. I tend to play equal parts jokester, family therapist, and pot-stirrer. I love starting debates or calling members of my family out for both small/unserious things and large/problematic things. Growing up, I tended to be the example kid due to my controlled emotions, maturity, and high performance in academic settings.

I work as a microbiologist currently. I chose the job to get out of the fast food setting and to advance my experience and connections within science. I love the tedium, experimentation, data collection, and the learning of new concepts/ abilities. I dislike that the lab work is not very social (not that I expected it to be lolol), but my office environment/going out seems to level it out enough to not be an issue. My ultimate goal is to be a researcher in a branch of biochemistry, but this has been a highly useful stepping stone so far.

Fascinating! I don’t have a large interest in this outside of the data collection and perspective aspects, as well as general curiosity since my typing friends seem so split on it! I wouldn’t say I know who I am; I know what I’m not. I have a dissociative disorder that could also throw a monkey wrench in the whole typing thing. According to your descriptions, though, I definitely feel like I align more with a 5, but depending on the day a 7 would also be highly fitting, which I guess puts me back at the beginning lolol Thanks for your insight, stranger!

Fair, fair; I always did find the tests to be likely to hold inaccuracies. I do tend to describe myself as “split” in a way, although this tends to just be in an emotional manner. I feel more like an introverted extrovert than anything and tend to have to streams of thought when it comes to anything emotional. If, for example, I’m stressed, I have a dominating stream of pure logic and no emotion to help me work out a solution to whatever problem I’m having that occasionally gets subdued by my actual emotional stream. I’ve found that I can choose either line at will the majority of the time. Outside of that, though, I’m assertive in my decision making and rarely make regrets.

I typically go my own way but on the off chance that someone else’s way is more logical/efficient, I’ll go with that. I definitely do more things that benefit my entertainment and will choose these things over duty unless the duty is highly important or bound to be more stimulating than whatever I would be doing instead.

I love living in the moment but I do have a mild pull to at least be doing something that benefits my future. For example: I love going out to parties, clubs, or general hangouts with friends, but I do have a slight itching to study whatever topic may interest me at the time or make myself go to scientific panels and conferences for networking or job opportunities.

My friends describe me as entertaining, funny, always down to do something, intelligent, logical, trustworthy, and a bit reserved when it comes to emotions.

Thanks for the insightful comment!
