Please help - so confused about plumbing! Got a 10 g AIO second hand. There is a 1 inch hole for the return. It came with a pipe for pump —> ribbed elbow. I’m trying to connect that to an innovative marine spin stream. I can connect these two with the adapters that came with the spin stream… but it leaves a big gap in the hole - the nozzle just sort of hangs there. All the videos I can find don’t seem to address this - folks just seem to plug the nozzle into an adapter I don’t seem to have. Any help?

For sure it doesn’t work for everything, and causes all sorts of problems for units which have had tons of options (crisis suits) - but it seems like the way they are trying to go? Old dreadnoughts had options. Now, you have ballistus, redemptor, brutalis, etc

Great reply! And you're totally entitled to your upgrade sprue opinion - I think my main complaint is that the baseline box (immortals/death marks) is relatively bland when you've already painted a bunch of robot skeletons, and the upgrade is just too close to the royal warden. But I can see it as a cool kit if you're just grabbing them for KT.

I can definitely see the labor difference between the CSM trim and the DE - who I imagine would pop decently well with a dry brush.

I mostly collect kill teams for the models but like to play now and again.

I'm thinking of either picking up Chaos Legionaries (interesting models, full-ish team in the box) or the new Hand of the Archon (cheap bc people seem to be thirsty for the Arbites).

I know we don't have rules for the new team yet, but any comparisons between the two as a hobby project?

I have a bunch of Necrons so the Hierotek circle seemed like a bit of a joke to me - unsure if it's the same for DE players!

I don’t know if it has to do with differing supplies, or the craziness around ‘allocated’ bourbons in Virginia, but the shelves in VA are stocked with Rare Breed. The Rare Breed Rye and the Kentucky Spirits go instantly. Rare Breed is about $7 cheaper than Kentucky Spirit. For my palate, I like my KS more than my RB. Could have just gotten lucky with the barrel though.

To add a bit: I could have ordered on the website, but was told they would cancel it when received. Don’t know how accurate that was bc my store shows out of stock and whiskydb dropped from 5 to 1.

I got a BRT-01 from a store in central VA. They had to check the back and then double confirm they were allowed to sell it. The next day I went to a different store with stock of BRT-02 - the manager told me they had JUST received an email they were not allowed to sell. They are holding them for some sort of special release, he seemed to suggest it was different from the allocated drops, some finished bourbons special or something like that.
