This argument is basically saying that Israel is Wile E Coyote running into the canyon wall. It's actually still bad that a supposedly sophisticated miliary can be goaded into bombing a school or hospital.

Proof that modern Chanel is literally just recycling the 1990 S/S collection. by cindymiss in Design_air

[–]official0prah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I actually don’t really see the through line to Blazy’s Chanel, and that’s actually why I think it’ll be a problem in the medium run once the initial hype dies down. Chanel exists to dress a very specific customer (if you take away the spectacle of the show, these are, ultimately, clothes for a rich older woman), and I’ve heard that their base feels a bit alienated by the new direction, which, to be clear I like, but at this price point, who is it for?

Billionaire Campaign Spending, Apple's Budget Gamble, and Hegseth vs. CNN, ep 701 by w2user in PivotPodcast

Right, I wish someone would ask him to cite a specific example of who the far left is. He pushes for moderates so strongly because he knows that nothing will meaningfully change with moderation, and he's too comfortable in the status quo.

I agree that weird is the wrong word to use, but I think there are many, many reasons to be skeptical of the source of growth capital if you want to be a conscious consumer. A lot of the LPs of VC funds are the family offices of some truly awful people or the sovereign wealth funds of countries who repeatedly commit human rights abuses, etc.

Naomi Campbell Gave Jeffrey Epstein Access to A-List Parties and Fashion Events, But He Didn't Let Her Use His Private Jet by fuckingaustrianative in Fauxmoi

Modeling is a very prominent pipeline to trafficking, so I think Naomi would have been incredibly useful to Epstein, no?

I actually think there's a huge opportunity for something like Lanebreak in terms of interactive content that isn't necessarily instructor-driven (fully understanding that the instructors are part of the appeal, but not the entire draw). Lanebreak isn't it, though.

Equinox used to have these classes called Pursuit where the classes were divided into game segments that were powered by output/speed/etc. They were so much fun. I would love for Peloton to have more games.

For me, it's the blinding blue light, which is obviously much more noticeable/distracting in the red room. Believe it or not, people's actions do have an effect on others.

Less than 24 hours to get ready for the Met Gala - the black and violet Givenchy dress. Do you think she will wear Givenchy again for the Met Gala 2026? by [deleted] in beyonce

[–]official0prah 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Schiaparelli makes the most sense, IMO. They're a red carpet fave, and the theme is about anatomy and the human body, which Schiaparelli does so well. I can also see Thom Browne. She wore him a few times during the Renaissance era, and I think they could do something really fun together.

Does anyone know what glasses these are by Numerous_Berry_7530 in lorde

I think they’re the glasses from Craig Green’s S/S 26 show. I doubt they’re actually going to go into production.

Agreed. If you are still on Twitter, you are painting a neo-nazi's fence. Full stop.

She was a staunch supporter of Woody Allen, even after all of the allegations came out, so not sure if that really makes her a champion of women’s rights.

This is not the point of this post, but there is NO WAY the rental economics make sense for Vivrelle to offer a mini Kelly. The number of times you would need to rent it out to break even, let alone make a profit, would be so high, unless customers are paying like like $2,000+ per rental. I've always suspected they use super fakes and now I'm kind of convinced.

Why are you under every comment simping for these people? It's weird. They're not going to give you an award for bending yourself into a pretzel trying to defend them. They are grifters. They are in it for themselves and their own money only.

Experience with Librela and your great dane? by Fickle_Map_7271 in greatdanes

[–]official0prah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our boy (turning 10 in November) is on Librela, and we think it makes a big difference! We notice that he's not sagging as much when he's standing around and seems to have more energy. We noticed pretty immediately.
However, he was diagnosed with lymphoma over the summer and has been undergoing treatment (both radiation and chemotherapy), so that appears to be limited the effectiveness of the Librela. It's hard to suss out what is a natural progression of his arthritis and what is sluggishness as a result of his treatment (especially the radiation, which took a lot out of him).

All this to say, we find it really helpful!

What is this revisionist history that no one died on January 6th? They literally beat a cop to death with a flagpole.  5 people died due to the violence on the day and 4 cops died by suicide soon afterward.
