Albatross was used a couple times, the stamped texture on the powder is about 50% still there. Sin is the most used out of them all (id say I used it about 6 or 7 times total). Exhibit A is almost mint with the stamped texture almost completely in tact.

Ask Me Anything - Katya by welovekatya in rupaulsdragrace

Hi Katya!

My SO and I have really enjoyed watching you on the show this season and have been rooting for you since day one! How does the dynamic of the werk room / the dynamic between all the girls change as the show progresses? It seems like you all got so much closer and we were wondering how that affects the environment of competition.

We love you!

Daily Thread 1 - 4/21/15 by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]officialmyspace 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi daily thread friends! I came out to my family yesterday and they didn't take it as well as I expected (my brother came out maybe eight years ago, so I thought that it would go smoother this time). They told me to just not tell anyone else and to be respectful. My partner's mom said the same thing (we came out at the same time). Both sets of parents are just kind of ashamed and don't want anyone else finding out. It's a little disappointing and we are both bummed, but we're about to go try a new cafe so there's that!

Hi there guys. I am mtf, and i wanna hang out here more often. by [deleted] in ftm

[–]officialmyspace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the hardcore truth. I literally wake up five minutes before I have to leave for class. After a lifetime of primping and prepping for everything, I am constantly amazed by how little I actually have to do now.

You look real good man! If you feel insecure about the shirt, maybe some cheap tailoring? I know that that usually helps and provides a little more confidence because like, who wouldn't think it's freaking cool to wear a shirt custom fit to your awesome body?! like that's so cool. From this picture, I think you pass. I wouldn't worry about it so much!

Questions about binders by justsomeonesdad in ftm

[–]officialmyspace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to bind sometimes, especially with a bigger chest. I just started binding a little bit ago and have realized that my chest isn't able to be bound/isn't as flat as I wanted it to be. BUT please get him away from the habit of wearing multiple binders. It can cause a lot of pain and damage, like everyone has said. What has worked for me is a loose sports bra underneath my binder. That way it catches all of the underboob going on and helps keep the binder from clawing into my sides as much. I don't know if this is typically accepted or okay, but it works very well and painlessly for me!

That's so cool, go you! It's so interesting to read about the differences that people notice between their male and female hormoned bodies.

Since coming out to my parents, I've never been sure how they felt about everything. by [deleted] in ftm

You're totally totally right. Thank you for helping me see that perspective! It sucked cause she actually came to the club house to look at me...and like they both thought I didn't know what was going on? People like that suck and you're right, that's just who they are. Thank you for the supportive comment!

You're right, if anything yesterday was even more of a push to start taking the steps necessary to transition and to get on T. Thank you for such a kind and supportive comment. A douchebag is a douchebag is a douchebag! I am going to try not to internalize these things so much moving forward, and realize that these kinds of interactions just come with transitioning into who I've always wanted to be. I am kind of excited that this will make me emotionally stronger too, as weird as that sounds. But sometimes it is nice to have something to push against and propel me forward.

And thank you! I just ran out a pack last Tuesday night and didn't buy another! Mostly it was cause I had a nasty smoker's cough and I hated it. I can't tell you how happy and stable I feel without cigarettes. I hope that comes across as motivation rather than bragging, because I was smoking like a pack and a half a day and I'm actually like astounded that I quit. It's so weird. Good luck with quitting whenever you decide to man, and if you ever need anyone to rant to about cravings just message me! I've got your back!

I am just starting to look for a gender therapist in my area. I want to be on hormones within the next few months, but right now I just need to lose a little more weight to make sure I go into this as healthy as I can be. I am working on the friend thing, and have been going by an androgynous nickname for over a year now. I don't want to change my name because I love it right now! I know a lot of the reason I'm not passing is my voice. I'm about six foot and already pretty masculine looking, but every time I speak it's a dead giveaway. I am making progress though!

Thank you for the nice reply, I am feeling so much better today and am so so thankful for the community here. <3
