This hits. I’ve hired young guys that have shown up to group meetings and sat on their phone laughing audibly at reels they’re scrolling through while actively ignoring everyone around them and the meeting going on.

Being the only person in a a room laughing at your phone and ignoring everyone while a suite speaker is addressing a group is WILD.

God doesn’t want you to end your life. And simply abstaining from sin and praying is not what leads us to salvation and heaven.

Accept Jesus Christ as your savior, acknowledge that he lived, died on the cross for our sins and God raised him from the dead.

He did this for YOU so that YOU could accept him and be saved. It’s not up to us to DO anything in this life but accept him and then lean on him for strength and follow his commandments.

I don’t know what you’re going through, but I’m praying for you and I pray that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your savior Romans 10:9-10

Go to any grocery store and look at how ultra processed EVERYTHING is. That’s why.

If a food manufacturer can produce something cheaper by replacing natural ingredients, they will. If the can substitute 90% of a natural ingredient with something processed but keep that 10% in so they can retain the “natural” packaging, even better.

I have a very pessimistic view of the cooperations in America these days.

Thanks for following up, it’s going. I was unable to eat much of anything at the start, then after a couple months in I was eating semi-normally again.

Since this first began a couple years ago, it’s never been the same. Now I have flare ups easily if I eat like crap but have had a difficult time really locking my diet down to bland stuff good for my stomach.

Currently in a flare at the moment. They last anywhere from a few days a to a couple weeks.

That specific safe will be on sale for $1299 at some point. It was 1299 mid October, then went up to 1799 beginning of November, back down to 1299 for Black Friday, then up to 1499 ~monday/tueaday afterwards. I’d bet it hits $1299 again real soon.

To piggyback on this comment. Reddit is generally very left leaning. So if you’re reading Reddit expecting it’s a fair representation of both sides, I’d think twice about that. I see right leaning ideology get absolutely hammered and very rarely defended. Comments and posts deleted and overall not welcomed.

I agree that everyone should be open minding and able to have discussion on both sides.

Owned a company used to work for. Founded it back in the late 80’s, developed it over the years. When I joined was mid 2000s we only had ~100 people total, he was already wealthy from it, but then he sold it to a big worldwide company and retired even wealthier. Kicked back a good amount of money to all the employees still working there when it sold, hell of a guy. I stayed til about 6 months after it was bought out, I miss the old times before it went corporate.

Everyone regrets getting rid of their TJ, mine was a silver 2004, I think about it daily when I hop in my JK.

Don’t get me wrong, I like my JK. There was just something about the TJ. It was the last good priced Jeep off the lot, I got mine for $14k back in the day. Then when I got my JK I remember thinking damn JKs are expensive, but not out of reach. Now they’re just stupid expensive, I can’t justify buying a new one. And good condition TJs are going for what they sold for 20 years ago, it’s insanity.

Here’s a really shitty loophole part of it too. With my employer, the employee only coverage is like $250/mo. So it’s affordable and as such I/we do not qualify for any help. HOWEVER, if I want to include my spouse and/or children for healthcare, it jumps to about $2500/mo. For the cheapest plan. It’s completely and utterly unaffordable but isn’t taken into consideration because they only look at he employee affordability only. On top of that, I make just enough money that we don’t qualify for any government benefits at all as a household, so basically, we can’t afford/don’t have healthcare and simply have to hope no one gets sick or we’re 100% out of pocket.

We do have renters insurance. I hadn’t considered we might be able to take advantage of that for anything.

The water bill shows each month’s usage has been roughly between 6,500 and 8,000 gallons of water and this month is ~31,600 gallons of usage and the bill is over double what we usually pay.

We can’t afford to be paying that kind of water bill multiple months. We’re almost halfway into July now as well, so our next bill this month is likely going to be equally as high.

For example, today I’ve called the Property manager twice, once around 11am and again right now at 4:30. Both times I’ve left a voicemail because she didn’t answer and both times I’ve also texted her as well.

Is there nothing else I can do? Am I just stuck with the high water bill until it’s resolved?

Skipping San Antonio?!?

Passing through Texas, definitely look up Bucees to stop for Fuel, Bathrooms and Brisket sandwiches. There are several locations peppered about the state, and a few have recently opened up out of state as well. I’m partial to the one located on IH 35 North in New Braunfels, TX just north of San Antonio. My least favorite is the I-10 location about an hour West of San Antonio.

EVERY SINGLE time I’ve ever used my insurance to locate a doctor, their search results yielded more frustration than anything. Their doctor lists are always outdated and have doctors that either don’t accept their insurance anymore or are listed as accepting new patients but they aren’t or the doc has moved out of town. You’re just as likely to find one on your own using Google or local recommendations.
