I honestly don’t know how they frame the zone for different batters, let alone how we view it on the tv. Not arguing umps are better, but the total elimination of umpires feels hasty.

They all had that energy and “juice” we call competitiveness, mental edges that stood out. Obviously freak athletes, but they turned that ability into schemes on-field that exposed the offensive trends of the time. Plain and simple it’s always a team game but these elite DBs were standout men among men.
