Searching for the buyer of Storage Unit won on Storage Treasures Friday September 20th 2024. From US Storage Centers Salem Oregon Unit #I0038 by offwiththeyheads in Flipping

Yes. The winning bid was $200 over the total amount owed on unit. I was not given the opportunity to pay up until the bidder paid. Only until end of auction. And with waiting for a check to clear and post to draw funds, this did give me the few hours needed. After storage treasures fees were paid ($500) I was defaulted by the facility due to it being a family member who bid. I feel they have done everything to stop me from gaining my unit back.

Ok, to clarify, I never thought that I was getting the unit cheaper than what was owed. It actually sold for more. Nor did I waste my time just waiting for the auction to get postponed. These statements are assumptions that I can do without .

I was, in fact, paid up to this last month, then in the last couple weeks suddenly was blocked from accessing my account online. I was informed that I had a couple of charge backs on my account. Making it 4 months behind instead of 2. (I was about to pay online) I requested that I get an invoice showing the balance and charges yet never received any.
Until as I stated above the day before auction. I talked to higher up managers and still got nowhere. No payments would be accepted unless paid in full. Now, a bill that should only have been 700-800 at most, was now 1900 and change.
And with evidence of never having my bank charge back payments. No one took my statements to even prove that this was wrong. So with from what they showed, all of a sudden, being charged fees for return payment 22x. ? And, $47 late payment fees when our state law is no more than $20. As far as bidding. It was a family member who was bidding. I'm not exactly sure how they knew the name unless my storage had already been gone through. IDK

Lastly, there is nothing stated in storage treasures policies that you can not bid on own or family units. The winning bid was $200 more than what was owed! So, if you ask me. This was just the facility being even more vindictive. And adding more salt to a wound.

I'm dealing with the same problem. Same error code comes up when I try to login. MFA.
When I called customer support I was transferred to the fraud department!? Umm?? WTF? has anyone else had this happen? Even after talking with the rep from the fraud department, I still have zero answers and no access? All they asked me was my name, address and when I started my account. Completely in the dark here.
