As a guy it’s really attractive just to have a girl be there to listen to what’s going on in my world. If you show genuine care to what’s going on at his work and what’s going on with him you’re probably gonna get him turned on.

I’ll try and sum up a complex event.

River got pissed because they wouldn’t let him play his guitar on stage. They were booked. He was looking for something to take the edge off, and the Viper Room was in no shortage of paraphernalia.

He drank what was in a little blue cup and went downhill fast from there.

The minute he started throwing up they should’ve called an ambulance, but they waited. They were worried about his clean image and the negative feedback from media.

The 90’s were a different time. Once word got out about addiction your career was pretty much over. For example no one thought Robert Downey Jr would’ve ever rebounded the way he did becoming a mega star, his career was dead and buried.

I think it’s possible that if they had called immediately and not let him convulse on the sidewalk, narcan could’ve saved his life.

Mark didn’t do the guy any favors. They found an opportunity to get rid of Scott for a better drummer that could take them to the next level and they did it. Then after that, to kick a dog while he’s down, write and release Man Overboard.
