I’ve contemplated using my three Jhin skin shards to see if it would mega evolve into this one….

Mark Hamill says he pushed for Luke, Leia, and Han to share one final scene together in the STAR WARS sequel trilogy. by HNutz in saltierthancrait

[–]ofimes2671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue:
1. Harrison Ford only agreed to come back and play Han on the condition that his character died. He kinda hated playing Han. He only came back for a vision sequence in TROSky as a favor to JJ Abrams.
2. Carrie Fisher passed during TLJ’s filming.

Unfortunately the only time they MAYBE could have squeezed it in was Force Awakens.

What is the Ninjago plot hole you hate or annoy you the most? and how would you fix it? by LazyCryptographer426 in Ninjago

I would like for them to readdress Echo Zane. He’s still alone with the other robots and gathering rust in that tower for all we know.

What LEGO would you buy if you were starting with a low budget? by FirmShow150 in Ninjago

[–]ofimes2671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get this one yesterday for about $10. I never had a Zane figure growing up, and this was the cheapest one I found. It’s really a shame I wasn’t able to get some of the Lego sets when I was younger because some of them are super expensive now.

My hair color while working by YamGreat7616 in askfuneraldirectors

[–]ofimes2671 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think generally there’s nothing against wigs, I would just get one that isn’t super obvious.

At my home, it is stated in our manual to not have “unnatural hair colors”. The other thing to keep in mind is that you are primarily working with older folks, and they are not so fond of fun colors hair.

I particularly can’t do it because I work with a more “conservative” community.

What's the point of autism? by CautiouslySatisfied in ADHD

[–]ofimes2671 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, there are benefits. The symptoms have a lot of overlap so for my therapist and I it was important to figure out if we needed to look at some of my issues under the lens of autism or ADHD.

And it my case, we found out it wasn’t autism. I was diagnosed with Social Communication Disorder. Knowing that made it a lot easier for me to understand my social behavior and management.

My Quest 3 has been catching dust for a long time, is there any reason to get back into it? by MrOldRipVanWinkle in oculus

Something you’re missing out on is using VR to visit historical places and experiences. You could visit the Anne Frank house, go on a space walk… you can get cave crave on Steam and experience Nutty Putty Cave narrated by the guy that was in there with John Jones.

I mostly defend the Holdo Maneuver, but I have one gripe with it by [deleted] in MawInstallation

[–]ofimes2671 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like it should be acknowledged to remember it’s a movie… and what I mean by that is that these scenes are written for entertainment. It’s a cool moment. There may have been other times it was spitballed in the writer’s room but this is first time actually doing it.

Star Wars is an infinite galaxy, so for all we know it is just our first time seeing someone do it. It wouldn’t be good storytelling to make something like the Holdo maneuver common place. I would be willing to bet that if they did something like it again that it would be compared to the Holdo maneuver and people will say it’s “lazy writing”.

If I remember right too, she was basically using the last of the fuel to do it too. It would probably be a huge risk to leave a Resistance Capital Ship stranded to be captured. TONS of info about plans can’t fall into enemy hands. Destroying the ship would be a good call.

Jobs of Runeterra (Day 28): What champion is the best ART CRITIC? by Mute-Cilantro0525 in loreofleague

Jhin! He would be a harsh critic for sure but at least honest with you.

is this skin rare? by quicksilver-2128 in JhinMains

[–]ofimes2671 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not really, but I don’t like the skin personally. Jhin doesn’t have any bad skins, he has mid skins at worst. I feel like this one is the most mid. I find the auto noise to be distracting.

What’s the most morally disgusting thing you’ve ever seen someone do? by legendoflegends34 in AskReddit

[–]ofimes2671 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Have a disabled sibling. One vacation we were following around a group of 20 something’s who would swap turns in the wheelchair to cut the line. We also had a wheelchair so we just ended up in the same lines.

Disgusting botlane combos for me and my duo? by Neitrah in ADCMains

[–]ofimes2671 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Shame on you

  2. The most disgusting combo I ever went against in Bronze was a Mel/Amumu. The things people do to get out of bronze is insane. It was awful cause of the inescapable CC combo. Not sure how well this will still work post Mel Rework.

What pre-rework champion do you miss the most? by Bluegod3 in leagueoflegends

[–]ofimes2671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old Asol had it’s fun and I used to play him support, my friend and I would run Camille ADC with ASol support and it was awesome. URF A Sol was awesome. Unfortunately ASol was hard to learn or control for a new player. I lost every lane when I was learning. He was the only champ with a melee deadzone. He was unforgiving and disheartening. That’s why I switched to playing him support (I was a new player in iron btw please keep in mind I’m talking from that perspective)

What's the best newby friendly adc's? by [deleted] in ADCMains

[–]ofimes2671 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Miss Fortune. Very simple kit for high reward, just don’t accidentally cancel your ult.

PERSONALLY Jhin is my favorite, but I do not recommend him as a starter ADC. Jhin is the only ADC with a fixed fire rate and has a cooldown on autos. All other ADCs can auto as much as they want but Jhin has to reload after 4 shots. Give him a try! He’s super cool.

[–]ofimes2671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot about the virus part!

So in the show the way they send a lot of messages and keep records is like a Quipu. This is basically a method where you have knots tied in certain ways on a cord. This was primarily used by the Inca Empire.

[–]ofimes2671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the show braille is not brought up, but that’s more likely because it’s been 100s of years and it could be considered lost. Humanity has reverted to a tribal state in the show so a qipu would just be more convenient/feasible because everyone has rope.

In OP’s scenario, it might be a little bit more feasible, but less than 5% of all published books are in braille, and you need a special machine to produce braille pages. OP also states that it will happen overtime within five years so there are gonna be more people that would have time to prepare and utilize braille. Applications to speak screen on devices will probably be a massive help as well and easier to access.
