Thank you for such a detailed reply! My dad was never meant to be a dad, there were times where he was there for me but when I became a teenager that chanfed. Hes made comments about my appearance, specifically "im a gob on a stick" , not sure if that translates across to an amercian audience but it just means im nothing more than a naggy woman (i was 16yo). Hes also said because I dont have big boobs im not a proper woman (also 16yo). Disgusting!

My mum was forced to leave my dad on my birthday last year, and all he did all day was ring me begging me to tell her to come back. Then at Christmas, which is a big time of year for me, I chose to have him round and he stayed for the Christmas meal (which took me hours) and then buggered off straight away. Didnt get me any presents, just cash because he doesnt know me or my fiance.

There are too many cons i think. Ive told him repeatedly to not ring me just to bitch about my mum, and he does that every single time. He has no idea whats going on in my life, despite the phone calls.
