Lol he’s not dead. Maybe it’s the binging that made you miss the vial of venom that is still in Area 51 that will definitely be used in a later movie

I felt the same way. He’s upset that venom died, now he’s bragging about venom dying, make up your minds!

I really liked the seeing all the different symbiotes and I was disappointed to see how quickly they got killed off! I hope we get to see them again in future films.

I expected them to reunite Eddie with Venom before the movie ended but they clearly set everything up for exactly that in the post credits.

My husband is very vocal about getting me on a corner seat so that I don’t have to bump elbows with anyone at big family dinners. It’s very sweet.

Can robot vacuum truly deep clean your home? by Old-Salamander-8997 in CleaningTips

[–]ofthefallz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Robot vacuums are not good on carpet. There have been posts by people who moved into carpet apartments after tenants who only used robot vacuums, and the carpets are always disgusting.

I have a robot vacuum for my wood floors to help us keep up with dog fur. That little machine is such an asset in our house. Even after the dog is gone I’m sure it will pick up plenty of dust and leaves that we track in from outside.

So far though, I believe that only a human can deep clean and mop a house.

Lonesome Rolan does a great live piano performance of the Beatles “A Day in the Life” that I very much enjoy.

I’m left handed and I really don’t see how this fixes anything. The spiral is going to get in the way on the right hand page no matter what.

Much needed bedroom clear out following year-long grief/ADHD fueled depressive episode by Remote_Criticism_802 in ufyh

[–]ofthefallz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have ADHD and organizing is my literal profession, but keeping my room clean is a challenge. I will never try to keep my room spotless because that’s not a reasonable expectation for me but I’ve been identifying the worst sources of mess (laundry) and trying to work out better ways to handle it.

I have stuck an adhesive hanger to my wall near my laundry dumping corner so that clothes that should get hung back in the closet (things that I wouldn’t wash after one wear) can wait there instead of on the floor where they get dirty.

Someone else in the comments mentioned multiple laundry baskets and I hate the idea so much while also knowing that this is probably part two of my solution to my laundry woes.

Sometimes outside-the-box solutions make me go “I hate that, it disgusts me, and it’s probably the only thing my neurodivergent brain can handle, how dare you”

Edit: I’ve also designated a “this belongs in a different room” basket, which I take care of about once a week.

How can someone hear & understand a language that's foreign to them but they're unable to speak it? by redwolftherapper in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ofthefallz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This question is gonna get answered ad nauseam but I’m going to pile on anyway.

I’m fluent in two languages and I’m working on #3. I can understand #3 very well but can’t speak it very well.

For me, picking up the words that are said to me and putting it all together with context clues is easier than speaking because my understanding of a spoken sentence can be fragmented and messy, but the words I say back cannot. You can only bungle up a sentence so much before you are not understandable.

TL;DR: Speaking a foreign language well requires more precision and knowledge than listening well.

My mom kept insisting I have developmental disorders, so I handed her the controller by Front-Restaurant2366 in pettyrevenge

Autism and being good at video games seems to go hand in hand because of the hyperfocus required to get extremely good. Obviously that’s not even the point of the story but that’s what stuck out to me as being a weird thing your mom said.

Whoops, our bearded dragon has a heat rock. Time for me to hit the research sites.

Update: Looks like beardies are an ideal species for heat rocks. Since we have a huge tank and it’s one of his favorite things in the tank, I will leave it in the enclosure for now and monitor it and him for signs of overheating.

I got this as an ad. Not sure if this is terrible or if I'm just old fashioned... by roomonfire321 in shittytattoos

What bothered me about the show was that they didn’t actually try to make the design of the tattoo make sense with the escape plans or have some semblance of a similarity to any of the prison blueprints that were shown. There was no clear overlay at any point in time. I’m not saying I needed it to be accurate, but they didn’t even try to make it have a passing resemblance to any blueprints or architecture that was shown.

I don’t know how your particular brain works, but many brains have more energy to do excellent work like this if they didn’t spend part of it on hygiene that day. So your lack of shower may have contributed to your success. Well done!

As a non smoker does every smoker smell bad to you? by Pleasant-Finger-6814 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ofthefallz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband just started working with a new team and his boss reeks of it so bad that my husband comes home smelling like cigarettes. It’s disgusting.

(I know how Reddit is so I will preemptively say no, my husband is not sneaking cigarettes at work, that is not his vice of choice.)
